Yay! So glad you're all excited. I did my first tower teams 3 years ago when I was home on maternity leave and it got me hooked on challenges and led me to become a moderator here. So I get a bit nostalgic for TT ;)

That sounds oddly familiar.. I started Tower Teams I as a regular player and ended it as a mod *giggles*

I read that for the first time as *book* and thought, yes, we should all count our time here as having read at least a book as it takes that much time to get through all these comments we leave :D:D

Is anyone saving any books for the challenge?
I still have an X book I put to the side that I didn't end up needing for Gladiator Games, but otherwise I haven't thought too far ahead about my reading

I do think about leaving longer books until it starts, but I don't really change my reading or keep anything back. I couldn't believe that a few days before sign ups I read a 860 page book.

I need motivation to read longer books and I got through some in the last TT that I wouldn't have otherwise as buddy reads.
I may need to have a look at some for this TT and see if I can find anyone to read them with me ;)

Not really. I'm participating in a week-long group challenge in another group, starting next Saturday, so I will not even start thinking about what to read during TT-IV before that one's over.

I just signed up. I have done this challenge once and enjoyed it. The first time was loaded with buddy read points, and I wasn't crazy about that. I like the changes that have been made for this one!

Thanks Debbie! Yea the buddy reads got crazier than we expected that's for sure. We make small changes to each TT to see what works and keep things fresh. Hopefully having the goals in this one will add a new interesting element

I try to prepare and plan for challenge reads, but what I'm in the mood to read will likely be the exact opposite of what I plan. I have a general outline of what I need to read before the end of the year for certain challenges, but if I'm given free reign it will change dozens of times.

Yes, they were *very* popular... And a nightmare to keep under control... How Tea and Amanda managed to keep track of them without being swallowed beats me.... I guess they are That good.

Are you sure, Carmen? I am pretty sure we were on the same team for TT3 last year. Unless that was Wheel-a-thon 2. I am mixing them both up.
