This is so funny because earlier today I marked a 900+ page accounting book as read and was thinking that it would have been worth a lot of points on a team challenge like this. And boom, I come and there's a message about TT4!

I am all signed up. Wasn't sure what to put for books read. Witch school I sometimes go a couple of weeks without finishing anything and then I might finish 4 in one weekend.

I'm kinda the same Mary, especially if I'm reading more than 1 book at once. But I usually finish at least 1 book a week, sometimes 2. Rarely more than that. So I just went for a book a week option.

I signed up to join a team. Will you be sending out messages to those of us who sign up to let us know our links for team discussions (and links to any other relevant discussions)? I don't want to forget to participate, but I have a horrible memory so I'm likely to forget if not reminded.

I'm excited to play, though! I've never done a challenge like this before; it sounds fun! I just hope I remember to start/play.

Lol Mary HDLS, I know what you mean as I just finished a 700+ page book and also one called "The Hanged Man" and it felt weird not having a goal or challenge to count them to!!


I'm the same with books at the moment as having a new baby I'm only listening to audiobooks. But that will change over the time of the challenge

Goodreads doesn't let us do many individual messages per day (plus it would take a while with hundreds of players) so you'll only get a message if the captain is chasing you to check that you are still joining.
Look out for the November newsletter which will have info on how to find your team.

It is a much slower game than gladiators. We are introducing the goals to TT for the first time, but the main focus is just on reading as many books as possible with the staggered points rewarding bigger books. It is a bit of a "marathon" rather than a " sprint" ;)

So from what I can tell, TTIII went from November last year till February, but that was only to 20,000 points. So we can maybe expect for things to go till March or so this time? (I'm just asking approximately; I know you can't predict exactly.)
