I have a beagle basset mix and she is the best too."
My friends have a rescue and there daughter calls her a Bagel. lol!!

Our pitbull isn't too thrilled, but she got used to a few cats who have come and gone including newborn kittens, so I'm hopeful she'll get use to her. I thought she was a boy for a bit, but no, she's a girl. By teeth, we think she's 8ish weeks, maybe a little more.

Should I not have posted this?? ;-)
It's a google games apparently."
google games? Oooooohhhhh

My name is Bouchra and I'm new here, I signed up for the waiting list and can't wait to start!!
I'm a freelance translator, currently based in Saudi Arabia. I read in English, Arabic, and French, in various genres, including, but not limited to: sci-fi, mystery, thriller, fantasy, and historical fiction.
Looking forward to joining a team :)

I am working on something new to try and would like an opinion from anyone who feels inclined to give one.
Would it be beneficial to your team to have the new goals automatically posted to your team thread. And if so, would you like only the new goals posted or would you like all goals posted as well.
Example:

New Goals
⊕ Read a book with the phrase "An arm and a leg" in a book
All Goals
• Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as random - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable
• Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as asia - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable
• Read a book that has the birthstone Aquamarine in the text or title
• Read a book where the title starts with the letter P
• Read a book with the phrase "An arm and a leg" in a book

lol!
I think All Goals, is a better reminder.
However, is it an instant thing?
Or would they have a slight delay?
New goal pops up, but can be filled by a book already read. So would it post two in quick succession?
Or with a slight delay maybe only having it run once an hour then only the truly newest gets auto posted.
Thinking out loud, so hope I made sense.

Seconding Alison's and Jen's question concerning goal runs.
Otherwise, while I like the idea, I also like doing this kind of thing manually - makes me feel like I'm actually doing something as a captain ;-)

Today when we had one goal fulfilled, every new goal for awhile matched an already read book. That made 10 goals accomplished total. If this were automatic, would that make 10 posts in a row? I prefer it where it was manually written in one post.
The advent calendar tab on the spreadsheet looks awesome. So Christmas-y :-D
Very nicely done, ladies! :-)
