We've all had those times in our lives where we have had nobody around to rant and discuss a certain series with, such as Maximum Ride. Well, here is your solution. I really liked the first few books in the series, but then I stopped liking them. (view spoiler)[ The books that were about them being fugitives were great! I enjoyed them a lot. But then they were suddenly saving the world from global warming and it got boring. (hide spoiler)]

I'd have to agree in general with you, Kathryn; however, I loved the Flock and I adored Max. Every time I read a new book in the series, I'd say, "Geez, I didn't realize how much I'd missed all of the Flock, but especially Max's snarky attitude." I always was so happy to be back with them. LOL Weird, huh?

Now I just realized that there is one more book that I had forgotten was coming out this year. YAY!

Thanks for this thread, Mariah, or God only knows when I'd have realized that. LOL

Kathryn, I agree the first books are better, but I keep coming back for the characters and I love Max's Snarky, smart mouthed attitude.
Question for you Kathryn: What did you not like about them later on?

Yes, I read ALL of them except I didn't remember there was a new one so I have one more. YAY!!!

I can't believe this!!! I looked at my list for this series and I never read book #8!!! Do you remember (Becky) the reason I began this series was to get to book 8 because I LOVED the cover? LOL

I have a feeling that might have been when our other buddy stopped coming online and I was waiting for someone, but in my head I had all eight done. But I don't. LOL I only through #7.
