This book is getting so much hate and it's almost turned me away a few times but I have to remember that other peoples' ideas are not my own. And I'm super curious.

It's a genderswapped version of twilight. The males are now females and vice versa. I heard that some things are changed but it's mostly the same.

Question: I have only read book one so far, but I'm about to start book two (late). Does that matter do you guys think?

Also, the ratings are pretty bad so I'm a bit reluctant to read over 700 pages for a but with only over 2 stars, BUT with all these buddies in this group I just CAN'T be left out! LOL

So I'm in too! (If you guys think it doesn't matter that I've only read book 1).

@Vicki It doesn't matter that you've only read Twilight since this book is twilight rewritten. Not the entire saga. And the actual book is just over 300 pages. The rest is an edited version of Twilight. So really it's 2-in-1 :)

I just ordered my book online from Amazon. The hardback is $13.19 since I'm a Prime Member.

I'm going into this read being skeptical after seeing the reviews. More 1 stars that anything else on Amazon AND on Goodreads.

I will be reading this for sure. I just bought my copy today.

When it comes to the ratings I wouldn't worry most of the people that have been rating it haven't actually read it. Most of them are like I hate Twilight so I'll just give this book 1 star.

I just got the hardback and it's so pretty! I didn't realize that there was a cover on both sides! It's awesome. But I JUST finished reading Twilight and paid $1 for it at a book fair last year.

My book just arrived and it's a lot lighter than I thought it'd be (considering that it's a hardcover)

I'm a bit upset because the plastic wrapping ruined the dust jacket. But it's okay, It's not totally visible to someone who's not a book lover.

This chapter felt so long!

(view spoiler)[Okay, so I'm liking Beau. I sometimes imagine Bella but then I catch myself. I accepted Edythe almost immediately.

One thing that's slightly annoying (but can be overlooked) is the constant reminder of the genders. 'His hair was in a bun, but it was manly bun.' and 'They were all beautiful but there was nothing feminine about it' - paraphrasing here.

Also I nearly rolled off my bed laughing at Bonnie Black. I can't imagine it. Sorry, that's going to be a tough one to get around. (hide spoiler)]

It wasn't bad. Nothing to worry about. I don't read hardcovers usually so I think that's affecting my judgement.
