Do you have an e-reader? There are several ways to get review copies, but here is how I get some of mine. Go to netgalley.com and sign up for an account as a reviewer. Sign up for an edelweiss account. Also, there are member giveaways and review copy giveaways on librarything.com. If you need any help with any of these you can message me.

I have thirty sunsets, get happy, that monsters one that Jalyn has. If you want to pick some dates I can try and squeeze them in ☺
I don't think Jalyn and I picked a date for the monsters one, so you could pick a date for that too if you want?

Amanda's right, there are also groups on goodreads that offer 'read-to-review' programs. Sorry I can't do links and stuff at the moment cause I'm on my kindle!

Caitlyn, netgalley have books that you don't have to get publisher approval for, and you can also read books on your pc if you download free software ☺
@Sarah - Can we read Of Monsters and Madness on April 13?Let's read
on Apr5 and
on Apr8. Is that okay?? :)

5th and 8th are fine. Could we possibly move monsters forward to the 12th as I already have 2 buddy reads on both the 13th and 14th?

Say I have a third book in a series but haven't read the first two. Do you only get points for the first two IF you finish the third during the challenge as well?
I have an ARC that I have a question about. I read like 15 pages and then started to read something else. If I start over and read it does that count as reading it in April? Jayln pre-approved it for the elements challenge, but I'd like to know if it would work for this one as well. It's sitting on my currently reading shelf. I put it down so I could read
.
Amanda wrote: "Does
count for this challenge? It's 12 NA novellas. It's 170 some pages."Rachel has already made its thread and want to read it on April 1st. I want to join her but maybe a little bit late since I have another BR that date and also on April 2nd. Anyway, here the link for its thread if you want to join her https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I added
and
if anybody is interested. I need to read
before The Spark and the Burn if anybody wants to do that too (I know the 1st one is already a BR for tomorrow, but I'm not going to start it so soon if I don't have anyone to read book 2 with). :)

Hey Sarah, I don't quite understand the last part in the rules of this challenge. When it's in your review copies? Whaat? Haha. Please enlighten me :D
Margarita wrote: "Hey Sarah, I don't quite understand the last part in the rules of this challenge. When it's in your review copies? Whaat? Haha. Please enlighten me :D"Do you mean the "In addition" bit?
It means that if you have a book - Let's say you have
it was on netgalley a few months ago. so someone may have had it off there and still have it to read.So if you read it with them, it counts for you as well, because you're helping them get their review copies down.
I hope that makes sense. :)
You would need a copy of the book you're joining with to be able to read & review it, but your copy doesn't have to be a review copy to count, if someone else's is. :)
I had a copy of
from netgalley, which made it a review copy. It's just been published, so people can buy it.
So if someone actually bought it, and i never got round to reading it... and they read it with me.. even though it's not a review copy for them, they can still count it as that because they read it with me. (Who has a review copy)
Or, if you have book that's already been published, like
and someone needs to read it so they can read their review copy of
, you can join them on the first / second book and it counts as a "review copy" for you.Does that make sense?
Margarita, your question similar to what I asked Sarah on message #23 and her answered on message #27 (in case you still don't understand to what Abbie said, though I think she makes it clear :D )Here for example:
Sarah wants to read
but since it's book #2 and she hasn't yet read
, she has to read it while I also have it. So I can say that I got Hooked from Sarah shelf. And then Rachael wants to read an ARC of
with me but a copy that I got isn't an ARC because I will buy it by the time it released which is today. So both of us have the book but in different format.
Sorry, if that wasn't clear! It's difficult to word these things sometimes! I just wanted to make it fair so that people still get the points if they're buddy reading with someone who has a review copy.
