Watson or Sherlock

Which male protagonist is your fave, Sherlock or Watson? Why?

I like Sherlock because he has a really interesting personality: he is at one funny but also at times serious and determined, and he is really smart. Watson, being the narrator, is less interesting to me, especially since he isn't really a detective but follows Sherlock around. His job is mainly to ask Sherlock what he is thinking, and he is more traditional than Sherlock's zany detectiveness. He's a charming character, but I think Sherlock himself is my favorite.

Ruby-- well said. I completely agree; Sherlock is the preferred protagonist of the two. That said, I couldn't imagine Sherlock without Watson. They fit together effortlessly, like the lyrics of a well-known song. :)
