I read the A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel some time before. Has someone read it too and knows if it is much different from the original?
Hi - I just finished reading with my daughter, it was a lot more religious than I remembered. I didn't enjoy it as much because of it.
I haven't read this since I was a kid, but I remember being very put-off by it at the time. Ironically, the only book of the "quintet" that I really enjoyed was Many Waters (book four, starring the twins) which is at cloud cuckoolander levels of religious. It came across as ridiculous and borderline mean-spirited, which for some reason I appreciated as a kid (I was big into Animorphs too, so I liked tragedy).
I think I didn't notice the religion in it when I read this a long time ago. I can get around that, though, it's still kind of creepy.
