What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?

Kirstin | 52 comments This is possibly my favorite book in the series. Hermione's character developed quite a bit from the beginning to the end of the book. (Have to love the Draco slap! :)) Even though I've read it a number of times before, reading about Harry finding out about his past is always riveting. One of my favorite parts was how happy Sirius was when Harry said he wanted to move in with him. And of course any part with Crookshanks! :)

YESSs! Hermione is a-freaking-mazing.
& I've been a fan since 1999 or 2000. Books 3 & 7 are my favorites. Then 2, then 6, 5, 1, and then 4. The rereading is even better than first reading because then you realize how much genius was put into the writing. lol

Kirstin | 52 comments Exactly! I've read them multiple times as a kid but I feel like now I appreciate the story more. I'm rereading right now and am currently on the fourth book.

Megan Lynn (mamascandylit) | 1 comments Hermione and ginny is my favorite character. My other favorite characters are ron and harry. I dont have any least favorite character to be honest. If i did it would be neville or draco. The favorite part in any book is ginny likes harry. My least favorite part is draco's attitude towards harry.

Same ! This is my favorite book along the 7. I loved it the first time I read it and I love it even more now that i'm rereading it again. My favorite part is definitely how Sirius is happy when Harry agrees to move in with him. It breaks my heart also but at least he was happy.

Hannah (hgmiller) I won't give anything away for those who haven't read later books in the series, but I will say that my favorite part of this book reading it after I've read them all, is the entire section at the end with Snape, Sirius, Wormtail, and the kids. Not only because it's intense and a lot is happening, but because now that I know the truth about the characters I can see why they did and said what they did and it's so moving! I love it!

M. Austin | 7 comments My favourite part is definitely Harry inheriting the Marauder's Map and Snape's memorable encounter with Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. Though Harry mastering his patronus and discovering who Sirius really was also filled me with great joy.

Kirstin | 52 comments That part with the map was definitely quite amusing :)

Azbaqiyah The Dursley family really annoying! I liked the way J.K.Rowling describe about them.

Krista | 97 comments Book 3 is my favorite. It's the start of Harry's relationship with his godfather which I think is really special.

Drishti (drishti_ohri) The book was great. My favorite character is Hermione and the least favorite characters are the Dursleys and Draco Malfoy. The best parts are the entire end and when Snape tries to open the Marauder's map and gets their "greetings" and the least favorite parts were any part where Draco troubles Harry and when Harry and Sirius nearly die near the lake due to the dementors.

Gabriela This is one of my favourite books in the Harry Potter series. I felt that all the characters developed and matured. The amount of detail Jk Rowling puts in to the magical world is amazing! (I wish I had a time turner!)
