it was an amazing read. cinder is so brave although I did feel sorry for her a lot through out the story

I've heard about this book. I think it showed up in my Goodreads recommendations a couple times. Since I heard good reviews about it here and we're reading it, I guess I'll have to get it.

once you read it you can't go back its that good. I didn't expect it to be I'm not really a girly girl into fairy tales but this adaptation stumps all the rest.

I think mixing fairy tales with a futuristic world is a great idea. After I finished Cinder, I ran straight to the library to get the next book. The Lunar Chronicles is one unforgettable series! Enjoy!

well,the story was set up in china and lots of character's names are chinese.As a chinese,it felt so close when i read the story.PS i just heard that the chinese translation version had alreay come out!

I have my suspicions that Cinder is Princess Selene. Nobody told me that but I suspect it. Don't tell me if I'm right! :D

Cinder is amazing! I have read cinder, scarlet, and cress, and I still need to read Winter. I wasn't as impressed with Scarlet as I was with Cinder and Cress.

Cinder is a masterpiece. It's very well written, perfect character building and development, innovative and intriguing plot, etc. I have read the whole series and am currently reading Stars Above which is a collection of stories about how our favorite characters came to be. I can't wait for the graphic novel to come out already.

If you mean cyborg, a cyborg (short for "cybernetic organism") is a being with both organic and biomechatronic body parts.

I must admit that I was first skeptical because... a mixture of Science Fiction and fairy tale seemed weird. But I'm glad that I have read it! I love how the author plays with the real fairy tale. All the slight changes - (view spoiler)[ like with her stepsisters, that she actually likes one of them. And that she, in fact, didn't look pretty at the ball but rather horrible. (hide spoiler)] And that she was strong enough to do what she needed to do non the less. And Iko's the best!

Yeah, I agree, the first was the best. But I totally fell in love with Scarling, she's gorgeous, and I think that Cress's really, really sweet. Winter on the other hand... I like the character, but the book was waaay too long. It should have been cut by half. But it has its moments!
