SOLVED. the title may be "is" but i can't remember, the book is about a girl who dies and is in this kind of limbo where she's reliving parts of her life, i think she calls that place "is" [s]

would have been published 2013 or before, but i dont think it was very old; she may have had objects that led her to find the memories and she may have been trying to figure out how she died, but it has been a while so i may be confusing that with another book

I think it ended in her solving her death and moving on, changing the "is" to "am" or something
