October 2015 Reading Challenge: Spooktacular

For the month of October, let’s get spooky! If straight up horror isn’t your thing, find a paranormal story to help set the Fall mood. Every October, we put together a fantastic Halloween display full of all the spooky, funny, paranormal goodness you can find, if you need inspiration.

This month, I think I’ll read Ghost Train to New Orleans by Mur Lafferty, a spooky, but not scary read. I love scary books, but I hate sleeping with my lights on, so this is a happy medium.

I really enjoyed reading this book (I finished a few days ago) and I'm so inspired by the challenge and the season, that'll I'll be picking up a new one of of our display later this week!

*Update* I choose The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and it has been absolutely wonderful!
