It's not exactly a book, but I had this great quote I posted on a bulletin board in my early twenties that started out:
"Strive to create, not to be entertained." Or something close to that.
I thought it was Albert Schweitzer, but I've read everything I could find by him and couldn't find that quote. Then I thought maybe it was Victor Frankl. Haven't been able to find it among his writings either.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I've been searching for twenty years now!
