What are you reading?

I love her books too! Have you read The House on the Strand? I think I read that one nearly 40 years ago and loved it. Recently, I bought Hungry Hill, which is one of the few that I haven't read.

Angela, no I've not read that. I've only read Rebecca; someone else on here is reading My Cousin Rachel, so I will have to check out The House on the Strand too. Did you read Jamaica Inn?

Again, it's one that I read a long time ago, but do remember liking it. Once I "discovered Daphne Du Maurier, I couldn't read enough of her books!

Found her last year ans thoroughly enjoyed the two I read, can't wait to get to this one too.

Which of hers did you read? I'm about half way through Room and I'm absolutely loving it so far. I'd love to read more of hers!

Sorry, I thought you were talking about The House on the Strand that you read 40 years ago :) I agree, I want to read everything by her!

Dani, I have only read Room, but Slammerkin comes highly recommended by one of my Goodreads friends.

I will definitely look out for that one while I'm in Waterstones tomorrow :) Thank you.

That sounds interesting and fun, Susan.....I'll be looking forward to your review when you're done.

I work in my local store - I love it there! :)

I love thrillers but I have a special fondness for classics! :-)

An interesting mixture! I've read the first and the last.

Ian, in my opinion, the second two are better than the first.

Ashwini, I have A Nail Through the Heart(Poke Raffery #1) on my TBR.....I might have to push it up my list! What are your thoughts on the first three of that series???

I have Vampire Academy, Fire and Rumors all in my house........it's going to be hard to stay focused!

Looks like you have a nice line up, the hardest part is finding the time! I saw you were going to read Graceling, was it good? I finally got it.

Kerri - I'm starting Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China tonight. Hope I can finish it before month's end!

Awesome, hopefully she can tweak her last one to her satisfaction, I can only imagine how hard it is to write great books.

I know you can....looking forward to chatting about it with you later this week!!!
