((Work time Uhg))

Ajax climbed into bed right after him, crawling into his arms. She rested on her side since she might as well get used to it since this and laying on her back will be the only two positions she could sleep in soon. She giggled when he nuzzled her neck, repeating those words over and over again. "Someone's addicted now." She teased, then yawned in reply to his question. "I am actually. Today was tiring." She said

Ajax laughed and glanced up at the ceiling light, rolling her eyes. "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't turn of a light," she said, sitting up. "Watch I'll show you." She shuffled out of bed, getting up. She pulled his shirt she was wearing over her bum and padded over to the door where the switch was. She flicked it off then jogged back to the bed, slipping back under the covers. She snuggled up against his side, laughing at his babbling. "Sleep, babe." She whispered, kissing his cheek.

Ajax giggled and gave him a little kiss on the lips before resting her head on the pillow and pulling the covers up. "Goodnight, I love you:" she whispered, then closed her eyes and welcomed sleep.
((Skip to the middle of the night?))

Ajax was sleeping peacefully on her stomach with one arm laying straight at her side and the other resting over Scott's that was draped across her. She wasn't particularly dreaming of anything, just darkness. But she felt herself slowly waking up as the side of her head slightly ached, like it usually did from time to time, and opened her eyes. She blinked into the darkness and looked over at Scott with a small smile. She then realized her throat was parched. very slowly and carefully so she wouldn't wake Scott, she scooted out of bed and padded into the bathroom. She flicked on the light and grabbed the rinsing cup beside the sink and filled it with water.

Ajax took a few gulps of the water, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She lowered the glass and frowned, turning her head to the side and staring at the scar along the side of her head. Her hair was growing back fast, but she could still see the faint outline of where the surgery was done. Just then, a thought came to mind: she wasn't on the chemo so the tumour couldn't be killed permanently. And also, it wasn't guaranteed that the seizures would stop for good. So what if she had one while preganant? There was no way she could go almost a full year without just one. As she thought about this, her heart picked up speed and her breathing quickened. The baby might kill me or I might kill it she thought darkly. Tears gathered in her eyes once she realized she couldn't breath. Her breathing was raged and the cup dropped from her hand, clattering into the sink and splattering water. She let out a soft whimper and held the sides of her head as she fell onto her knees, gasping for air.

For a few seconds Ajax didn't know it was Scott who was beside her. She could hear much of anything other than the sound of her pounding heart and heavy breathing. She dropped her hands and shook her head, over and over again as she spoke. "I'm gonna kill her Im gonna kill her." She started to cry, hiccuping because she was crying and trying to breath at the same time. "Or she's going to kill me." She cried out loudly, hunching over and sobbing hysterically. Her body started to shake, but not like she would during a seizure.

Ajax curled up against his chest, blubbering like a toddler throwing a tantrum. She couldn't stop the tears or the shaking. She felt like she couldn't breath, that her lungs were being squeezed to death by fear. His words sort of were noticed by her ears, and not until he held her face in his hands and made her look at him did she really tune in. She wanted to believe him, but it was hard to. She could have a seizure at any moment, and that'd most likely kill or badly hurt their child. Or even herself. "N-no!" She wailed. "What if I have a seizure Scott? It could hurt her or possibly kill her. I have no control over it and I'm so scared its going to h-happen." She cried. "It's not okay; I'm not okay!" She shouted, completely hysterical now. "I-I-I can't b-breath:" she gasped.

Ajax moved so she way laying beside him, draping an arm across his chest and slipping a leg between his comfortably. "Yeah," she sighed. "I'm okay." She said, and she was at least for now. She wanted to run we concerns by her doctor. Maybe he could give her something that's not chemo for her seizures that won't harm the baby. "Are there still fudge squares at here?" She asked softly. Her stomach lightly growled.

Ajax sat up and rested against the headboard. She curled her hair behind her ears and took the container from him. "You don't have to go all the way downstairs to get me something. Two of these should hold me over." She said, opening it up and grabbing one. She popped it into her mouth and smiled with her mouth closed as she chewed.

Ajax giggled as he settled in her lap, then smiled down at him when he kissed her bump. She popped the other square into her mouth and nodded, wiping her hands together to rid of the crumbs. She didn't speak until she swallowed. "I know she will." She said, reaching down and combing her hands through his hair. "It is for now. But soon you won't be able to use my lap as a pillow." She laughed.

Ajax put the container in his nightstand then continued to comb her fingers through his hair with a small smile. "We'll have to do it after I go shopping with my mom. I need new clothes." She said, sighing softly. "You can come if you want." She offered, biting her lip as he traced circles across her stomach.

Ajax was waiting patiently in line at the coffee shop, wearing a new pair of maternity skinny jeans she bought earlier that day and a dark grey cable-knit sweater paired with a lighter grey infinity scarf wrapped around her neck and a dark green jacket over top. On her head was maroon beanie. It took a lot of will power not to turn around and jump into Scott's arms, considering she was still giddy from last night. She thought his idea was silly at first, but now that they were in the middle of it, she could the cute aspect of it. Right before she walked up to the front counter, she felt Scott's hand brush against hers. She sucked in a breath and bit down on her lip to stifle a giggle. "Hi," she said as she walked up to the counter. "I'd like a medium hot chocolate with skim milk and a shot of caramel please." She told the barista. The barista nodded with a sweet smile and punched in her order. "Is that everything?"
"Yes." She nodded and made a show of pulling out her wallet from her purse.

The barista nodded with a wide grin, punching in his order to. She was curious as to why this young man was hitting on a pregnant girl. But she guessed she couldn't blame him since Ajax was pretty attractive, pregnant or not.
"I...I'm Ajax." She said shyly, giving Scott a once over. Since they were playing this game, she might as well have some fun with it. "Are you sure you want to do that? I am pregnant." She turned to face him and patted her bump, which was visible because her sweater was fairy snug.
"You're orders will be over to the left." The barista smiled at them.

The barista smiled and nodded, punching it in. "A dollar fifty please." She said, then glanced over at Ajax. "You both warmed up together pretty quickly." She teased, taking his change and giving him his chance back before getting the slice of banana bread for him.

Anna, which is what her nametag said, put the slice of loaf into a small bag and handed it to him. "Oh is that so? Well you put on an adorable show." She giggled. "Are you both looking forward to the baby? When is it due? Do you know the gender?" She asked excitedly. She just loved cute love stories. She was a hopeless romantic.
((OMG. LANGSTON AND ANNA.))

Anna grinned at the mention of a girl, and held her hand over her heart. She then gasped and giggled, her eyes shining. "Oh my heart is going to burst!" SHe laughed, blushing slightly. "I wish you both the best. I expect you two to visit again after the little one is born." She teased.

"You're welcome." She smiled, and waved as he left.
"Did you get lost?" Ajax smirked, taking the loaf. She took it out of the small bag and took a bite, listening to him. "She did? Did you tell her it was all fake?" She asked around a mouthful of bread. She drank her hot chocolate to wash it down.

Ajax nodded, glaring at him playfully when he took a piece of her bread, but she didn't really mind. Ajax looked back at Anna, who was looking happy as she served more customers. "Scott, how old would you say she is?" She asked. She looked at least twenty five. And for some reason, Langston came to mind. She then looked at Scott, grinning.

Ajax pulled off a piece of her loaf and stared at it nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders. "Oh I don't know" She said sarcastically. " I was just thinking that Langston might be so grumpy and mean because he's almost thirty and isn't married or even in a relationship." She said, popping the bread piece into her mouth.

Ajax nodded and looked eager. "Yeah she's super mushy and happy but that might just be what he needs. Maybe he's a hopeless romantic at heart just like she is. Something has to be able to break that mean wall of his." She sighed, sitting back in her seat. She absentmindedly rubbed her belly as she thought about his question. "Damnit; I didn't think about that. Well he lives around here right? Maybe we....well we have to tell him that I can't change into a wolf at least until after the baby is born. We can bring him here for a meeting with just the three of us so he can't yell at us or hurt you. And hopefully Anna will be working that day."

"Yeah," she sighed. "You're right. One at a time. We don't want to overwhelm ourselves and them." She nodded, then swigged back the rest of her hot chocolate since it was warm enough to. "Either way, yes; Langston is first because we really need to tell him the news. I know I'm on leave because of my surgery, which was four months ago now and I assume he thinks I'm taking the chemo." She said, biting let lip. She wondered what Langston's reaction would be to her being pregnant, specifically with Scott's child. It was obvious that she was clearly off limits to be his mate, but even if she wasn't pregnant and not with Scott, she doubt he'd have any interest in her anyways.
