Shadowjac | 24 comments So when is it okay to delete lists, there are over 4,000 pages of lists, and several are personal lists, for example "Christine's Summer Reads" or "Jason's Best Books of all Time"
Some other ones are nonsense like ".dnp". When is it okay to get rid of these? They only have one voter usually.

Moloch | 3975 comments I see that when possible the list is renamed, rather than deleted: "Christine's Summer Reads" becomes "Summer Reads", "Jason's Best Books" becomes simply "Best Books". I don't know what to do with the ones with nonsensical names

Shadowjac | 24 comments What about the fact that there's probably ten different "Summer Reading" lists?

message 4: by Moloch (new)

Moloch | 3975 comments I know, but they don't break any rules so they can stay

Shadowjac | 24 comments Okay who can I ask about the nonsense ones?

Rivka may pop in here when she gets to work, but it's just after 6am in GR time.

If there are specific lists you believe need editing or should be deleted, please use the Contact Us link on the Help page, or flag the list in question.

Shadowjac | 24 comments Okay thank you.

Shadowjac | 24 comments I've found while digging through the old lists that several are made by authors promoting their own books. I've been flagging these lists as spam. Is that the correct procedure?
