Cobwebs-Iced-Across-SpaceTime (readingreindeerproximacentauri) Joe Costa seens to be an appealing series protagonist. An attorney, he now works for Prestige Properties in Montecito, CA, selling real estate. His career change from criminal defense occurred after he was shot at; hus former firm's clientele was primarily criminal, including Mob clients. Now he lucks into a quick and profitable property sale to an odd couple: a German sculptor with offshore holdings, and his vivacious wife. Maybe it's a sale too good to be true...
