Mike & Lindsey Willis | 4 comments I am lookimg for a book i had as a child in the 1980's. It was a youth book, mostly told in picture format with word balloons and sidebar. Was obviously paper copy, though the one i had was cardboard cover.
Basic plot was about two girls and their beagle in grade school, and all the strange haunting like events at their school. One scene had the teacher write a spooky message on the board with her chalk eraser when she tried to clean the chalkboard. Another had the girls facing off against what seemed to be a werewolf. In the end, the figure out the mystery of the haunted school, explaining away the strange events at the school Scooby Doo style, like how the teacher had put chalk in the eraser to write the scary message.
Please, anyone who might know, i would love to get this book for my daughter. I had the book for years, and i think it was ruined when i lived in an apartment in florida and the water heater exploded and destroyed dozens of books i had in a cardboard box. It was one of my favorite books as a kid, and i would love to share it with my daughter.
Thanks for the help!
