Amazon verified purchases?

I've had a couple of reviews that should have been very much verified, and showed up as not verified. What I figured out was that the Kindle or Amazon account the book was purchased under was either the wife's, and the reviewer was the husband, or vise versa. That is frustrating.I do not know about free promos. Sorry.

Free promo purchases are verified. KU books are not purchased, so they may not count. I do know that books borrowed through prime have traditionally not shown up as a verified purchase, so it stands that KU would follow.
Hello All, I thought I would jump in here because I have a frustrated, but definitive answer on 'verified' purchases. I have KU, if I download a book and write a review, it is not a verified purchase...I have only 'borrowed' this book. If you download a 'purchased' book, it is yours forever, therefore it is a verified purchase. That being said; if someone has bought your book, even if they 'bought' it for $0.00 and they want to do an honest and unbiased review, they should go to their orders on their Amazon page and click on review from there. That way they won't make the mistake of posting from an account that they didn't use to buy the book.Does that make sense???
