When I rate books, sometimes several at a time, it seems the ratings automatically generate Twitter tweets. These propagate to my Facebook page, etc. I would like to Tweet when I do book reviews but not each and every time I rate a book I've read, especially since I am new to goodreads and have several books remaining to rate. How do I control my Tweeting?

You can check under your profile settings if you can change anything there. If not, you have to ask in the Feedback group, because this is not a librarian issue.
