It's free for the first three months. after that, I think it's 8.99 or 6.99 a month...something like that. It's like another library of books for me and I find a ton that my library DOESN'T carry!

want me to send you a link for the free months? You might find you like it if your library doesn't have all the books you want

OR you could just use it to read both the first of this series and the second :)

My library doesn't carry this series either. Scribd is the only way I'm reading it.

I'm so glad you loved it. I don't remember loving the first one either. but it's been a long time since I read book 1. I would have loved a gentle intro of the last book.

Ok, I'm starting chapter 12 so thought I should stop and post some observations:

Trisha there was nothing in book one about (view spoiler)[ the pain getting to Shack causes - so this will be interesting (hide spoiler)]

Ok, I am starting off chapter 20 now.

I do not like DeMyse or (view spoiler)[ LeRoy at all. There is something WEIRD going on there. And while I can see why Mort had them flee there - I don't get how they trusted Broomie and Riqo so fast. Alliances are necessary of course, it just seemed to quick for me... like it will bite them in the butt. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad that (view spoiler)[ Corpp ended up in the afterlife. I was SO upset after Lex accidently killed him - it was horrible. (hide spoiler)]

Lex's poor mom... not dealing well in the first place and (view spoiler)[then held captive by the lunatic Zara. And it SO makes sense that she's not acting alone. I think the man in white is controlling her... (hide spoiler)]

I want to know what is up with Driggs. I do hope he and Lex stay together.

Now to find out what the crap is REALLY going on.
