How's this?
Two friends. Theyve been through everything together. Since they were kids, they were practically inseperable. Then one day a fire starts in the school and the boy ends up saving her life, but pays dearly. His imjuries has left him unable to talk. Now its their senior year and he gets to return to the newly remodled school and struggles with his new life. But his best friend is willing to do anything in her power to help him

It was a Wednsday morning an Derrick was just getting out of the shower. He grabbed a towel and dried his body, being very gentle around his scars since they were still sore. After getting dressed, he walked downstairs and into the kitchen where he seen his mom cooking. He sat down at the table, knowing his best friend would be there soon.
"Come in" Derrick's mother called out, knowing who it was. Derrick poured himself some Orange juice. This was Derrick's first day back since the accident and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't nervous, "Hey hun" Derrick's mom said with a smile when Ariel walked in
He gently moved his hand away from hers and got up, walking to go grab his bag. Honestly, he wasn't looking forward to going back. The bullying was bad before. He couldn't imagine what it's going to be like now. After grabbing his bag, he walked back into the kitchen
Derrick pretty much just sat there, staring out the window. He couldn't do much else. He looked up at the sky, when he seen raindrops. He sighed and shook his head. He knew today wasn't going to be good at all
It still didn't make him feel too better. He opened his car door and got out, throwing his bag over one of his shoulders.
He gave another sigh and began walking towards the school. Soon he was inside the cafeteria getting him some breakfast. He sat down at a table and ate quietly
Aboy walked by and was about to start making fun of him. But before Ariel could react Derrick stood up and swung his fist around, hitting the man hard, dropping him. A crowed gasped and ran up to the now unconscious man
He snapped his hand away from her and walked away. He didnt stop until he reached the boys bathroom. He walked into it and closed the main door, locking himself in. He backed up againet the wall and slid down in, burying his face in his hands
"Whats the point?"he replied and put his back against the wall before slidong down it. "I cant do this anymore." He said again before pulling his bag off his back and put it beside him. He opened it and began looking through it until he felt the cold metal in his hand. He pulled it out and looked at the gun that was now in his hands
He was crying in the corner, holding the gun shakily in his hand. He looked up at her and revealed the gun in his hand
((Im not sure what else to put. I was wanting to do more with that little scene))
