I'm definitely going to be continuing both series."
I am so glad you are enjoying your picks, Martha!

I had a slow start to the month, but I've been in the zone for the last several days and I've managed to finish four of your recommendations already! :D
Lothaire - a little different from previous books in the series and it took me a while to warm up to Lothaire as a hero rather than a villain, but ultimately I liked it a lot...and of course, Robert Petkoff can do no wrong as a narrator as far as I'm concerned!
Wicked Appetite - Cute, and great narration, but it reminded me a little too much of the Stephanie Plum series. I'll probably continue the series eventually, but not in any hurry.
Somebody Nice! - Cute and sweet - great feel-good story at a time when I really needed one!
Double Full - Ok, I really did like this story, but I'm so glad I read your review before reading it...the same football related issues that you ranted about would have made me crazy too if I hadn't been prepared for them. At least they didn't mess with our Seahawks! ;-)
Thanks for all the great picks, I hope to have time at the end of the month to get to one or two of your new picks once I get all my books finished for other challenges...

Thanks for the great recs. I really liked this book and never would have tried it without your rec.

I finished my second pick, Dark Duke and really liked it. I don't read much historical anymore, but I'm glad I made an exception for this one! I plan to read more from this series. Thanks again for the recs!

I ended up DNFing Rush, I just... couldn't. So I returned it and picked up The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie instead <- bound to be a winner!

I just finished the second of your picks for me, and I really enjoyed it. I had read the first one in the series a while ago, and had put off reading this one because I thought it couldn't possibly be as good as the first one. I was wrong: it was just as good and I could not stop turning the pages! Thanks for the push to get to it!

Glad you're finding some picks you like, Breann! I'm still a couple of books back in the Charley Davidson series, but I'll get there eventually. And sorry Rush didn't work for you, but thanks for the warning...I've had it on my TBR forever and just haven't been able to bring myself to start it - maybe that's a good thing!

I'm hoping to read Portrait in Death, as well. And would you believe that my library doesn't have Simply Irresistible? I was shocked! I added it to my list and I'll be on the lookout for it at the used book stores.
