Glad you are enjoying your picks. I am fairly new to challenges, but I enjoy this one the most.

message 152: by Martha (new)

Martha | 197 comments I just recently finished Something Great (Something Great, #1) by M. Clarke and Meant for Her (Love and Danger, #1) by Amy Gamet I'm giving both a rating of 4 stars.

I'm definitely going to be continuing both series.

message 153: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (bexsi) | 812 comments Mimi, I have just finished Two for the Dough (Stephanie Plum, #2) by Janet Evanovich I enjoyed the first book in the series more but this book was also entertaining.

I just finished my second pick UnKiss Me (Angels Warriors MC Trilogy #1) by Dawn Martens and really enjoyed the story but it was a cliff hanger with no happy ending!! I did however continue on with the next 2 short books to finish the trilogy. Over all it was a good MC series with sexy bikers and strong women!

I just finished The Mystery Woman (Ladies of Lantern Street, #2) by Amanda Quick and I LOVED it! Thank you so much for recommending it. I will definitely be reading more in this series!

~KarenH~ | 11344 comments Hey Shelby!

I had a slow start to the month, but I've been in the zone for the last several days and I've managed to finish four of your recommendations already! :D

Lothaire - a little different from previous books in the series and it took me a while to warm up to Lothaire as a hero rather than a villain, but ultimately I liked it a lot...and of course, Robert Petkoff can do no wrong as a narrator as far as I'm concerned!

Wicked Appetite - Cute, and great narration, but it reminded me a little too much of the Stephanie Plum series. I'll probably continue the series eventually, but not in any hurry.

Somebody Nice! - Cute and sweet - great feel-good story at a time when I really needed one!

Double Full - Ok, I really did like this story, but I'm so glad I read your review before reading it...the same football related issues that you ranted about would have made me crazy too if I hadn't been prepared for them. At least they didn't mess with our Seahawks! ;-)

Thanks for all the great picks, I hope to have time at the end of the month to get to one or two of your new picks once I get all my books finished for other challenges...

message 179: by Nancy H (new)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Leigh,
I just finished the second of your picks for me, and I really enjoyed it. I had read the first one in the series a while ago, and had put off reading this one because I thought it couldn't possibly be as good as the first one. I was wrong: it was just as good and I could not stop turning the pages! Thanks for the push to get to it! Down London Road (On Dublin Street, #2) by Samantha Young

message 180: by Leigh (new)

Leigh | 270 comments Nancy, I'm so glad that you liked it. It is one of my favorite Contemporary Romance series. You should give the rest of the series a chance.

I finished Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1) by Jennifer Estep . I really liked this book--kind of the ya kickass version of Percy Jackson. I like Percy Jackson but I like this better because it is aimed at a slightly older crowd. Good choice. Solid 4 stars. Have added the next one to my TBR. Thanks for a great pick that I had never even heard of!
