I took it as an example from a buddy read we did in the past, so we're not reading it next month. Maybe you'll find someone else to read it with though? :)

Yay! Thanks :)
Would love to take part in the buddy read challenge for October. anyone want to join me? I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to books. I love romance and inspirational books. I also enjoy fantasy and am interested in trying out some mysteries.

Do you have any books already planned for October? Most of the discussion centers around folks posting what they have planned to read for the given month and then others chiming in and saying they'd join them. It might help spark a buddy read or two for you!
Not really, I've been in a reading slump for a while now. :-(
I think it's because I haven't found anything that sounds interesting. I really like books by Sophie Kinsella and Beth Rinyu. I am working on a list for October and the Dewey Readathon. I have been wanting to read the shatter me series & am thinking of reading the maze runner series before the movie is out on Netflix.

For the love of all things holy PLEASE read the books before watching The Maze Runner movie. They are so different I can't even deal. Such a disappointment. I would hate for the movie to ruin the experience of reading such a good book!
I almost forgot I've been wanting to read a book by James Patterson and Chris Carter.

I'm definitely going to read

That would have been great advice last week. I watched it on HBO send didn't know what was going on. I decided it was a bootleg Hunger Games ripoff

Rules:
Use this thread to find your buddy and determine your book! You can always start by posting books, authors or genres you are interested in. When you decide who your buddy will be and what book(s) you're going to read head on over to the FINAL SIGN UP thread (see link at bottom) and tell me your book and buddy there (there will be instructions to follow).
1. If you want to participate post your name and let people know what genre(s) you are interested in reading and/or any books that you're interested in reading.
2. If you already know who you’d like to read with, go to the Final Sign Up thread and post your information for me!
3. Groups of 3 or more are also fine, the more the merrier.
4.I will create Buddy Discussion Threads for each Buddy group and you will be able to start reading and discussing.
5. There are no rules on what, how much or how often to discuss or how best to pace your reading - whatever works best for each individual group.
5.The challenge will span a month.
6.You CAN sign up for more than one Buddy Read...in fact it's encouraged!
ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK!
Once you have a buddy, go to the October Sign Up Thread and post your book and your buddy.
