I've been hesitant to read the sequels, but I really enjoyed the first novel. It was quirky and a bit strange, but a great read!

Really enjoyed the first one but wasn't so keen on the next one, I've bought the 4th book so now checking charity shops for the 3rd book

I read the first one several years ago and immediately read the next two. The character of Odd himself, and the quirky and spooky secondary characters were ... lovable ...and intriguing.
I've now read all but the last two, mostly because I don't really want it to end. They are not all as good as the first, but the character of Odd remains well done.
