2015 Goodreads Reading Challenge

[Michelle, Too many books, too little time!]

So I'd love to know what reading goals everyone here set themselves this year and how well you are going towards reaching them
I set myself a goal of reading 50 books this year but have only gotten through 17 so far. Needless to say that I most likely won't be reaching this goal unless I manage to find an extra two days a week between now and the end of the year!
Hopefully everyone else has had a bit more progress with their reading this year :-)

My original goal was 75 books but I changed it to 70 a while ago. I've read 49 books towards that goal now and apparently I'm one book behind schedule. Not sure if I'll make it but I'll keep trying. :)

I've read 32/60 books so far this year, and I don't think I'm going to make it. I'll have to finish and skim some that I did last year to get to 60. I also had a list of 12 titles + 4 alternates on another group challenge of which I've read 9 so far, so hoping I could get 12 done still, although at the beginning of the year I thought I'd definitely get all 16 read, no problem, lol.

You're still doing pretty good there Elaine. I'm 18 books behind schedule so have given up all hope of making that up unless a miracle happens and I can finally find a decent staff member to take some of my workload off me.
I'll be lucky if I make it to 25 this year I think!

Well at least you're closer to being on track there Colleen and a bit over half way to your goal. I gave up on a lot of challenges I'd joined because it was obvious I wasn't getting anywhere with them.
At least there's always next year!

The main thing I guess is that our reading is enjoyable....if you've only read a handful of books but they've been enjoyable that's all that counts. And totally agree there's always next year and the next and the next. I worked out that it would take me 7 years to read all my books on my TBR and that's if I don't add any more. Like that's ever gonna happen!!!
