Binge Café is a place where local teens, and young adults go to undwind. There shelves are always fully stocked with coffee ingredients, any kind of pastry that your heart desires, and a few meals here and there. The place has a total of 20 tables, 10 with two chairs, and 10 with four. You may also notice a small library corner set up for people to curl up next to the fire, with a mug of coffee, to read a good book. Come on in and enjoy!

Cece walked into the cafe hoping that Aaron would be on time this time because lately he'd been so busy getting ready for the school year to start. He really loves to teach and I really love to write books. She thought to herself with a gentle smile on her face. Maybe he just got up from a fling he had last night. She thought then instantly frowned.

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron pulled up to the cafe, glancing at the clock. He had actually made it on time for once, which was rare. But lately he'd been a bit to busy for flings, though he was sure he'd have one pretty soon. Maybe the following day or weekend. Cutting the engine, he ran a hand through his hair and grabbed some papers off the passenger seat, a list of names for his classes, he still had a lot of planning to do and he could probably use Cece's help with it, she was a bit better at organizing than he was.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Cece had already placed an order for the both of them because she knew what Aaron would want. She sat there waiting for him with her new published book that she had promised that he would get the first copy. She was so excited wanting to see how his face would look once he would see her the first time since mid June. She had been traveling wanting to make sure that this next book would be a hit.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron stepped into the cafe and looked around, a smile lighting up his face when he saw her. "Hey!" He called, walking over and setting his files on the table "is that for me?" He asked, sitting don, his smile growing wider when he saw the book in her hands. His blue eyes went up to her face again and he leaned back a bit, she looked pretty much the same but a bit different from the travelling, it was probably the small tan.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yes this is for you." She handed him the book her face revealed a smile. She saw all the files and shook her head. "Let me guess you needed help organizing these?" She raised an eyebrow wondering. She couldn't help but laugh while she was looking through the folders. "You really need a system that would work so that you don't have to worry about so much shit." She added as the barista came out and set the drinks and baked goods on the table."I got you the peach turn over this time since it will be your first day on the job."

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron smiled again. "Thank you." He said, picking up the drink and cupping it in his hand and watching her. "And I know I could use a system, but you're better at making systems than I am, it's one of the reasons I keep you around." He teased, taking a sip of his drink. "I've never been good at organizing, it's just not in my personality." He said, chuckling and picking up the book with his free hand, flipping through a few pages.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

She looked at the folders and saw that she had brought something for the system that she had come up with. All the lessons and packets for the first three weeks would be put in a folder with the student's name on it he would have them grab their folders and have them empty them into their binder so the homework wouldn't get lost and the students would put the folders back where they were supposed to be so he could later fill them up for the plans for the next set of weeks.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron watched her work for a moment before turning his gaze to the book, reading as he sipped his rink, once he was done he set the cup down and leaned back concentrating on the book and running a hand through his hair on occasion, after a few minute she lifted his gaze and looked up with an easy smile. "Have everything set up for me? You might have to make sure I keep it organized." He said with a chuckle

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well it looks like keeping it organized isn't going to be much of a problem because you already have about three weeks worth of hand outs." She explained with a smile as she looked at him for a moment. He looked handsome as normal and his blue eyes seemed to sparkle when she looked into them. "You should be good in other words. If you need me to reorganize it I will."

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

"I have your number so i'll call if I do need you to, but thank you." Aaron said with a grin. "And your book is fantastic by the way." He said, leaning forward to grab the files from her before resting his elbows on his knees, keeping his eyes locked on hers. "How was you tour?"

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

"The tour was great!" She smiled looking at him with a smile on her face,"I took pictures and printed copies for you too." She took out the walgreens printed pictures showing him that she never forgot about him. "I know how you are when I'm gone so I got you a few things while I was away. I have to admit that I was missing you a lot." She decided to be honest with him but she wasn't going to tell him that he was on her mind the whole time.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron offered another smile. "Thank you, I have to admit that I missed you too." He said, reaching out for the pictures. "You have to take me with you next time, you know I've always wanted to travel." he said, his eyes flashing as he grinned again and ran a hand through his hair.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah I definitely will take you with me next time because you would have had fun." She smiled gently thinking about things because she didn't know how long she could go without being with a man that has feelings for her. She understood why Aaron wouldn't want a relationship with her.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sorry))

Aaron grinned. "Perfect." He said, glancing at his watch and sighing. "I should get going, I still have some stuff to do at the school. We should meet up again sometime soon." He said, gathering his things and holding her gaze.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

"That would be fantastic." She said slowly getting up to go pay the tab. "I have to go see what my publisher wants me to get my hands onto next." She added watching him closely. "Maybe we could have dinner Wednesday night." She said knowing that he would get off early on that day.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron stood and stretched, pretending to think for a moment before nodding. "Sounds good. Where do you want to go?" He asked, running a hand through his hair again and lifting an eyebrow as he watched her, waiting for an answer.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

"Maybe for once you could come over to my place and I could make you dinner because you know that I'm very good at cooking." She said with a giggle as she lead the way out to the parking lot where her nice Honda Accord waited parked in the parking space next to Aaron's car. "Hope you like pasta."

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron nodded. "True, true. I'll see you wednesday night then." he said with an even smile as he pulled out his keys and glanced at his watch again, his blue eyes studying it for a moment before returning to her face. "And I do love pasta, it's goo, though I'll have to go for an extra long jog the next day." He said in a joking tone with a small chuckle.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Cece looked at him and walked over to him and gave him a quick home."I hope that you have a great first day on the job. You will do great handsome, you're a genius." She kissed him on the cheek and went over to her car and prepared to start it so that she could go home and work on her new book.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Aaron hugged her back and then watched her for a moment before turning to his car and getting in, starting it and waiting a moment before backing up and heading to the school.

The drive back home took longer then Hadlee had expected. Maybe it was nervousness that made the car ride feel longer? Or perhaps it was just a three hour drive, with Shiloh in the back of the car asking many, many questions that she didn't know how to respond to. After all; children ask a lot of questions. Hadlee didn't mind though. She loved nothing more then her some being curious about things. It couldn't have been later then 7 o'clock when she pulled into the town she was born in. The town she loved and couldn't wait to share with her Shiloh. Looking back in her rearview mirror, she caught a glimpse of Shiloh, sleeping in his car seat. His small little head was bobbing up and down to every bump and divot. With his blue little puppy dog clenched in his limp hand. A small smile tugged on her lips, feeling happy and complete inside.

Hadlee pulled into the Bing Café; thinking this would be a good place for her to get some coffee and Shiloh to get something to munch on. This was one of her favorite spots to go to when she was a kid. When she found a parking spot, she pulled in her spot. She turned the key in the ignition to make the car turn off. Hadlee opened the door to her car, shutting the door after her. She walked over to the side where Shiloh was and opened the door. “ Hey honey, wake up we are here,” she said as she gently rubbed his tummy.

Kikki (kikki-not-kiki)
Shiloh had been more than excited at the beginning of the car ride; he loved riding in the car and had been bouncing around to where she almost couldn't buckle him in. For a good portion of the ride, he hit her nonstop with questions about everything; where were they going, what road they were on, and so on. About a quarter of the way into the trip, he passed out cold, as all kids do on long car rides and he always did, giving her a blissfully peaceful trip for the better portion of the way as he'd only wake long enough to go potty at rest stops and curl up and sleep once again in his carseat. Throughout the entire duration of the ride, his stuffed blue puppy Lottie was tight in his hand, the only time it left his hand was when they went to the bathroom.

When the car finally stopped, he didn't even stir, still out cold from the ride. When she rubbed his tummy, he woke up giggling as his little hands moved to grab her hand, a big grin breaking out on his face as he squealed out, "Mommy noo, that tickles!" It took a few seconds before the location they were at registered, then his eyes were wide and he asked, "are we here now?! What's this place? I'm hungry, can we eat now?" in rapid succession, as per usual for the excitable little boy.

Anthony was walking down the street to the cafe, thinking only about the hot cup of coffee that was waiting for him inside. He's just finished his last appointment for the day and was looking forward to having the chance to relax at his old stomping ground. He couldn't help it as his thoughts trailed back to over a decade ago and all the good times he and Hadlee had had there. He wondered where she'd been the last nine years. She and her parents had practically disappeared off the face of the earth a couple of months after they graduated. He sighed to himself as he wished he had some way to connect with her and see how she was doing.

He didn't have to wait long as he turned a corner on the street. He could only see her back, but he recognized her voice when she spoke. He breathed out her name softly, blood pounding in his ears, making him temporarily deaf. Then louder he said, "Hadlee? Is that you?" He started walking towards her, then froze when two little hands appeared to wrap around her neck. What in the world was that?

Hadlee couldn't help but smile when Shiloh woke up.“ Yes, honey we are here. Unbuckle yourself and hop out of the car and we can go get you something to eat,” She told him. Leaning down; Hadlee picked up her hand bag that she placed down on the pavement. She backed up; waiting for Shiloh to get out of the car. It was an amazing feeling to be back home. At lot of things have changed in nine years. But; then again the place feels like it hasn't changed.

Hadlee heard a voice; a voice that she would know anywhere. Her heart thudded in her chest. She knew exactly who it was. She pivoted around so fast that her hair covered half her face; then fell back down on her shoulders. "Anthony?"

message 27: by Kikki (new)

Shiloh grinned as he moved to unbuckle himself, struggling with it for a moment as he always did as his fingers didn't seem to want to cooperate with him. He slid out of the car and looked at the person who spoke, then his entire face lit up like a star and he started to bounce eagerly. He tugged on his mom's shirt, barely able to contain himself as he squealed out, "Mommy! MOMMY LOOK ITS THOR!!! ITS THOR FROM THE MOVIES!!!!" he turned and grabbed a little plastic hammer from the car then ran up to Anthony, nearly falling over in his eagerness, and bounced around him eagerly. "OH MY GOSH I CANT BELIEVE ITS THOR!! CAN YOU PLEASE SIGN MY HAMMER MISTER THOR PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE IM YOUR BIGGEST AND BESTEST FAN!!!!" he squealed out, waving the hammer and his stuffed blue puppy around eagerly.

Anthony choked and his jaw dropped. His blue eyes widened as he looked down at the bouncing boy and then back up at Hadlee. His mind spun and you could almost see the gears turning as he absorbed what was going on. "Mommy?" he choked out, his voice strained. He stumbled back slightly, bracing himself on a car beside him. "Oh my god..." Hadlee had a son. A son who had blond hair like he did. Jackson had black hair. "Hadlee? Son? M-" he squeaked out. "Mine?" He forced the word out as he stared at her.

message 29: by ash (new)

Hadlee raised an eyebrow as her son ran over to Anthony calling him Thor. She did watch the movie with Shiloh not too long back and she did notice a resemblance between the two. Man; she really needs to teach her son the difference between movies and real life. But, thats a another subject to discuss with him another time. A long conversation. Hadlee couldn't help but laugh as Shiloh was bouncing around like a kangaroo. She hasn't seen him this excited since he discovered what superheroes were.“ Oh my! Your right! ” She said, playing along. “ Mr. Thor, can you please sign my sons hammer?!” She laughed immediately after she said that. Holding her stomach laughing uncontrollably. Anthony? Thor? No way.

When Anthony finally connected the dots and asked if the child was his. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to confuse Shiloh, Or lie to Anthony about having a kid. I guess the cat was out of the bag now. She was able to do it for 9 years; and for good reason. First of all, her parents wouldn't let her "destroy" his life. Since they told her she destroyed hers. Second; she didn't want him to loose his dream to be a personal trainer because she had a kid. Instead, she just gave him the look. Pretty much letting him know they will talk later but saying he is his.

message 30: by Kikki (new)

Kikki (kikki-not-kiki) ((XD haha long conversation indeed he totally won't believe her and think she is saying that cause she secretly works for SHIELD and needs to protect the superheroes identities lol))

Shiloh was beyond excited, his big eyes were round with excitement as he bounced around Anthony, looking fit to burst with excitement as he waved his little toy hammer and his toy around. As usual, when he got as excited as he was now, the inevitable happened and he tripped over air and tumbled to the ground. Luckily, he didn't get scraped up or anything and he bounced back to his feet again, holding the hammer out in front of him and pretending to fly around excitedly. Superheroes had become his favorite thing (outside of his blue puppy) the minute he watched the avengers. "Can you please sign it mister Thor?" Shiloh asked again, stopping in front of him to give him puppy dog eyes that were to die for.

Anthony swallowed hard at the look Hadlee gave him, then looked down at the little boy in front of him. He knelt down in front of him, a smile twitching at his lips as he recognized the look he'd seen Hadlee give her parents when they were kids. "Well, young man," he said, looking Shiloh in the eyes. "I am flattered that you think that I'm Thor-" he leaned in close to whisper "-the best in the Avengers-" he pulled back again and spoke louder "-but I'm afraid that I am not he. My name is Anthony. I was friends with your mommy over there, when she was your age." He smiled at him. "I love your Mjölnir, though. It looks exactly like the one Thor has in the movie. Can you tell me what your name is?" He flicked his eyes up to Hadlee, hoping that she would explain everything soon. He couldn't believe that she'd had a son all these years.

(( Oh my god thats perfect! hahahah lmao! I heart Shiloh! ))

Hadlee sighed, crossing her arms over her chest while shaking her head back in forth. Shiloh was a great kid, but his clumsiness will get the best of him someday. She had witnessed countless times Shiloh falling over nothing. His response is always the same; "I'm okay". Its got to the point where Hadlee didn't even have to ask if he was okay now, considering that's always his immediate response. She has never seen anyone fall as much as him and get right back up bursting with the same intensity of energy. “ Shiloh, why don't we go inside and get you something to eat and go to the bathroom; I'm sure you need to go we have been in the car for three hours, ” She told him as she walked up to him and gently placed her hand on his shoulder. Maybe part of the reason why he was so jumpy was because he needed to pee.

Hadlee looked up at Anthony and have him a light smile. The tension between them was awkward and unbearable. She wanted nothing more to sit down and have a conversation with him about this. But; she couldn't help but feel that they will never have the friendship they use to have when they were kids. I guess It was all apart of growing up. And her not seeing him for nine years.

message 33: by Kikki (new)

Kikki (kikki-not-kiki) ((XD so do I, he's so adorable!))

Shiloh didn't stop bouncing even when Anthony knelt down in front of him to talk to him, a clear hint that he actually had to use the bathroom really badly, but was too excited to have met Thor, who he realized was someone similar looking named Anthony that his mommy knew who also liked Thor the most, to say as such outright. Grinning widely, he said, "My name is Shiloh! Its nice to meet you!" Looking up at his mother when she walked up to him, he nodded enthusiastically and said, "Yes! Lets go! Cause I do has to pee....and am hungry...." Without hesitation beyond looking both ways, he darted off for the cafe and the bathroom inside after giving his mom his hammer to hold onto.

The smile on Anthony's face faltered once Shiloh was out of sight. "Hadlee, why-?" He stood up and met her eyes. "Why didn't you ever call? Never tell me?" he asked her. He kept his voice down as he looked at her. "I would have helped. I want to help." He couldn't process why she hadn't told him that what they'd done that night... That it had resulted in Shiloh. "Is he why you left?" Why had she does this alone? He would have been there for her. Helped her to raise him. He was as responsible for Shiloh as she was and it hurt him that he hadn't known about him until now.

Hadlee smiled and looked down at Shiloh's small little hammer. She kept looking at it. even when Anthony spoke. She didn't know what to say to him. She knew keeping this from him would have consequences. But, she didn't want to deal with it tonight. Not her first night back in town. Hadlee looked up at him; her eyes filled with sadness. She pointed in the direction to where her son went running off too. “ I should probably go and get him something to eat; he's waiting for me, ” She said brushing off all his questions, she started moving in the direction to the café.

Shiloh had just left the bathroom when she moved to the cafe and bounced out of it after washing his hands, looking around with bright eyes for his mother and her friend. He was pretty hungry by this point, and he wanted to get some food. Like now. So he hoped his mom wasn't still outside and had come inside, maybe with her friend.

Anthony didn't miss that she had ignored his questions. He moved with her to go into the cafe. "Let me buy you two dinner," he said, holding up a hand for the protest he knew was going to come. "It's my treat, Hadlee. A welcome home dinner, if you will." He couldn't stop watching her. It was as if he was afraid she was going to disappear from his life again. "He's a cute kid," he told her. "Looks like you."

Hadlee placed her hand on the door, but she didn't open it. She looked back at Anthony and gave him a quick smirk with her head tilted to the side. “ Are you kidding? He has more you in him then me, and by looks goes I'd say he looks like you, he has my eyes maybe, but everything else just reminds me of you,” She said, gripping the handle to the door tightly. “ And by the way, how did you even know what that hammer was called? What did you call it? Something that starts with an M ” she laughed a little bit. “ Nerd ” she teased before opening the door to the Cafe, seeing Shiloh; she smiled, walking up to him, crossing her arms and looking down. “ figured out what you want to eat yet? ”

"They have apple pie! Apple pie! Apple pie!" he chanted happily, bouncing around her. It was no secret he loved sweet food, at least most of the time what he wanted had a fruit in it rather than wanting straight up candy. While most kids wanted chocolate bars and lollipops, he generally went for types of pies and other fruit filled desserts.

Anthony smiled as he watched him jumping up and down. She said Shiloh looked like him. He could see that. But he could also see her in him. Her smile, her eyes, and a dozen other little things. "It's Mjölnir. It's in the Thor movie. And he is like you, Hadlee." He moved to crouch down to his level. "You made a great choice, Shiloh. They have the best apple pie in the whole world here. Your mom and I used to come here all the time to get some. It goes best with a scoop of ice cream, doesn't it, Hadlee?"

Hadlee arched her head up in the air, like she was surrendering to the gods. Shiloh was hard enough to put to sleep, on top of that lets add some sugar. And Anthony needed to go and give him that ice cream idea. She put her head back down, elbowing Anthony and grunting - as if Shiloh wouldn't notice. She didn't want to have to say no to him. This was a new place and he was so enthusiastic, but also contemplating in her head weather he should have sugar at this hour. Hadlee walked over to the counter and started to order. “ Can I get two small pieces of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, a small milk and a pumpkin spice latte please? ”

Shiloh started to wriggle around excitedly when his mother ordered the pie, his eyes huge in his head as he giggled excitedly. "Apple pie!!!!" he cheered, bouncing around Anthony. "And Ice cream!!" He looked up at the man with big eyes and asked, "How strong are you? Could you lift me up with one arm?"

"Add another apple pie and ice cream to that and black coffee." He slid forward and handed the cashier his card before Hadlee could. "It's all on me," he told him before turning back to look at Shiloh. "Why don't you grab onto my arm, little man," he said, kneeling down a bit as he held his arm out to him. "I think I can pick you up. I don't know about your hammer though. Your mom is pretty special if she can hold it for you."

(hahahha xD I know right!? He tries to be responsible. Lets just hope Ant has it in him.)

Hadlee moved her hands around her hand bag, looking for her wallet. "That blasted thing?! Where did I put it." Her hair in her face as she was searching through her bag. She flipped her head up, eyes opened wide, eyebrow rose as Anthony brushed past her and covered the expenses for the food. Hadlee blew her hair out of her face, eyes still big. “ Thank you. But; you didn't need to do that, ” she told him. Hadlee looked around for an opened table and looked back at the boys. " the boys" - she thought. The only time she thought that or said it aloud was when Shiloh and her father were hanging out. But; this feeling was entirely different. Hadlee pointed over to the open table. “ I will be over there, come and sit down after you guys are done doing - doing whatever you are doing, ” She started walking over to the opened table, setting her bag beside her. She pushed the stray brown hairs that were dangling in her eyes with her index finger. Getting situated in her seat. She kept her eyes on Anthony and Shiloh with a smile that she couldn't seem to shake off.

Grinning wide enough that it had to be hurting his cheeks, Shiloh immediately latched onto his arm after tucking his blue puppy into the waistband of his pants, not wanting it to fall. "Go go gooooo!" he cheered excitedly, wanting to see how high Anthony could lift him. "Mommy is very special, she is super special and wonderful and the best mommy ever." he told him, looking up at him with big eyes.

"I agree. She is very special. She was my best friend when we were growing up." He stood up slowly, making a show of pretending that he couldn't pick the little boy up until he raised him so that his head was above his waist. "That high enough for you?" he asked, unable to stop smiling. Shiloh's joy was contagious. "Come on, little man," he said, changing his hold on him and carrying him over to the table Hadlee was sitting at. "We don't want to leave her alone and our dessert should be coming out soon."

Hadlee watched as the waitress came over with three plates of pie and their drinks. She set them down on the table, moving one plate in front of her and the other's in the empty seats. Letting them know that their food had arrived. “ thank you, ” she told the waitress before she left.

Shiloh was giggling up a storm as he dangled from Anthony's arm, his little legs wriggling in his excitement as he clung to him. He'd never met someone that strong before, which made him think again that maybe he was Thor in disguise, which only made him think his mom was even more awesome then he thought she was because she was friends with Thor! And he trusted her enough to keep his secret, what was more awesome than that?! "Dessert!" he cheered as Anthony carried him over, excited and hungry.

Anthony laughed and carried Shiloh over to the table Hadlee was at. He saw how she'd placed their orders and sent Shiloh to that seat while he slid in across from them. "So, what brings you two back here?" he asked as he picked up his coffee. He couldn't help but think that he was supposed to have met them their first night in town. His best friend with his son... Wow. It was a little hard to wrap his brain around, but he was going to help take care of Shiloh.
