Yep, I can definitely see there are a log of Warner fans out there. I'm not half way through yet but I thought I'd like Adam by the end of the book. It seems you guys ended up liking Warner. Adam is not around much to begin with. Is that why no one likes him? xD

I'm not really a blogger like @Keara but I recently set up a photobucket account and I started saving gifs that have reactions in them so I can use them later. I only have a few so far but I'm building it. I use key words that have reaction+gif+photobucket and it seems to work for me :)

I actually read spoilers before reading Unravel Me and Ignite Me so yeah, I spoiled the fun. My fault! I regret it though.

And why? He only said her name. There was nothing else going on. There was no horribleness before her. Nothing. Just the name, I swear.

Warner is obsessed with her and I feel bad for him and so does she. I don't think she should feel sorry for him though, she's his prisoner. If she does like him later, this is going to feel a lot like a Stockholm syndrome lol

@Rachael ikr! I don't know what happened. I read about 8 books last month which is a huge deal for me. But Shatter Me is only my third book this month and one of the other two is kind of a comic and I finished it in a day so it hardly counts xD

I thought the book got better when they got to Omega Point. I know that was pretty much the end of the book, but that's when I actually liked it. Granted it was only getting better because I don't think it could have gotten worse after the monstrosity that was the beginning. But I started liking it bit by bit until we finally got to Omega Point which was when I liked it best.

I really like stories that have powers or abilities in them so I'm definitely going to read the next book but I don't think I'll be able to do it on the 25th with the BR because I need a break from the Mafi writing style.

The scene with Warner was creepy, I agree. She kept saying it was upsetting to her but it didn't feel that way at all. Adam is bleeding on the street and she's making out with Warner and all but forgot about him.

It'd be really cool if Adam turns out to have some kind of ability too. I really liked how the book ended and it made me really want to read the next one but I'm afraid it's going to be just as annoying as this one. You know, writing-wise.

(view spoiler)[ The whole point was that Juliette was so lost inside her own head that she couldn't form real thoughts and it just ended up as this crazy jumble because at that point she was just kind of a crazy jumble. But I promise if you at all enjoy the premise, hop into the next one, because as the books progress more and more Juliette steps into the narration and it gets....incredible. (hide spoiler)]

Really?! O.O That's makes me feel much better about reading the rest of the series. I was dreading it. The way it was written really annoyed me. Thanks for telling me :) I hope I like the next book. I really enjoyed this one towards the very end.

I'm up to chapter 10 (view spoiler)[ I was really starting to like Adam, and now he's a soldier!! I'm so upset, I trusted him. I can't decide if I like this style of writing or not. It's kind of cool, showing what she should be and is thinking. But at the same time it's a little annoying having to read all this stuff that's been crossed out. (view spoiler)[ I was really starting to like Adam too it was crap to find out he was a solder! I'm so annoyed and upset for her just as she started talking and almost trusting again. I like this style of writing although sometimes it's hard to tell what's happening in the story from this perspective although maybe that's the idea? I like that it shows what she's thinking and what's she actually says but like you said it's frustrating to have to read the stuff that's been crossed out, it's like she over compensates and overthinks everything it makes her seem almost a little insane (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I hated how public and how normal that shooting seemed, like it was the norm you know? No one reacted at all, well saying that they probably couldn't because they'd end up dead too but god so brutal. Juliette's power is awful imagine never being able to hold or touch anyone again without the fear of killing them? She seems so compassionate even with such an awful power it's like she tortures herself for living don't you think? I feel sorry for her because she really wants the power to hurt her too but it doesn't it almost creates joy for her. I think your right there's more to Adam than we know it seems he has a glimmer of maybe being her first love or something you know like they were romantically connected before somehow although how that works when they can't touch one another is hard to imagine (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 30 (view spoiler)[ Im not entirely happy with this romance. Firstly, why do they keep kissing in the shower? I know originally it was because of the cameras, but now that they're disabled it's just weird! Secondly, they aren't in love. Juliette might think she's in love with Adam, because he was the only one that was ever nice to her. But she isn't really, she barely knows him. And he doesn't love her, he doesn't know her either. Sure, she's nice, but there are loads of other nice people. Having a crush on someone in primary school is not the same as loving someone, and being willing to risk your life for them. I think Warner is right, unfortunately. I think he's using her as a partner in a plan to escape that he's had for a long, long time (hide spoiler)]

I like Kenji too, even though Adam hates him. Yes, he flirts, but I like that. I hate Warner! How can she enjoy kissing him?!? Yes, her plan to get the gun was great, but now she can't stop thinking about him. Eww. There's going to be a love triangle, a proper one, and I'm going to hate every minute of it. It's good that they've escaped Adam's house in time, but I wanted to know more about their world. It hasn't been explained very well in my opinion. And that's the most important thing about a dystopia novel, creating a new and interesting world (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I love the way James was described he was so sweet and almost angelic except for his attitude lol I loved his reaction to find Juliette all over Adam like huh what I'm not allowed to touch her but you are that's so unfair I almost imagined him saying it like Kevin from Kevin and perry lol, it's written so clear so I can see and feel James as a character it must have been based on their brother or sister when they were younger or something. I like that kenjo flirts playfully not understanding her true power and just treats her like a person instead of a weapon! Thank god! I hate warner too I can't believe after tricking him by kissing him (which was truly and utterly disgusting might I add) that she's now thinking about him like he's really an option I'm truly going to hate every single minute of the love triangle but it's soo obvious it's coming. No I think they skimped the details on the life that James and Adam have been leading for so long then when they leave it the author tries to almost make us feel like the despairing Adam and James of leaving their house but I can't because truly we never experienced much of the life they spent there so I kinda went "oh well" when they had to leave.
