Seriously what is that? xD Most of them are just ridiculous and some of them are just flat out unpleasant. It feels like an attempt to sound deep that has gone awry. Really really awry lol
I like Adam so far but I don't like the story of how they became the way they are. It is supposed to be realistic but something is just off. I'm not sure what yet.

Her metaphors and prosse usually make me think like "how are they even related?" or "what does she even mean?" but I quite like them. Makes me feel good if it happened to make sense. :))

Some of them remind me of the way I feel when I'm really drunk! That kind of spaced-out 'Why did I never think of that before?' feeling, which makes complete sense when you're drunk, and zero sense if you're sober.

Yeah it's confusing. And annoying. Though I don't find repeating words as annoying as the pretentious weird analogies. They bother me more. And I don't like how she's (the author) delays revealing what she (Juliette) can do and stuff because there's no point, we already know from the synopsis. Get it over with already, you know?

I was wondering if someone out there actually liked it. I guess I found one! :P I do understand your point. But for some reason they don't seem to make a lot of sense to me. Have you read the rest of the series? Or do you know if the other books get better after this one?

I'm curious as to why only 5 times. It's not even the number or letters in her name. Why five? Why not a hundred? Or a thousand? Or a million?

I had to reread this again and again to understand which was which. Seriously just... why?

She keeps taking that notebook everywhere in the pockets of her "dresses". I wonder how. It's been a while since I saw a dress with a pocket. Anybody?

Why did she ask Warner to take off his shirt to touch him? She could have touched his face or his hands (you know, after he takes his gloves off) like poor Jenkins. She didn't seem to have a problem with that. Why does he have to strip or why does he agree so easily? And why does she back out? He does deserve it. And he's asking for it. He's interesting though and I don't think I hate him. It feels like he's pressured into being this evil maniac. I think he's kind of a psychopath but honestly the only crazy person in this book is Juliette. (hide spoiler)]

It is hard to get used to! But if we're talking about Warner then I have to say he's my favorite so far. I really like him. So I totally agree with that part :)

It is very different. But I'm not one for poetry. Seriously, I don't even like poetry as a genre. I know people frown when I say that because it's like an entire genre but I don't know it's just not for me xD
