Chapter 22 (view spoiler)[ So he was her only friend she ever had and she didn't think it necessary to address that when he was mysteriously thrown into her cell and wouldn't tell her why he was there? I guess they're having a cute aha! moment right now but this all could have been figured out so long ago (hide spoiler)]

@Sarah - It's totally shocking to me too! All my friends on twitter are huge fans of this book and this series. Oh well! It's totally interesting to hear your thoughts

It's a bit unbelievable that he's been lurking/observing her for the past 8 years.
Anyway, I already read reviews about the third book and I regret it a bit. I now see why other people "like" the series. TBH, I kinda see that coming and now I'm just curious on how the story will really go toward "that" ending. So I guess I'll be reading the whole series too.

are you finish reading the series?
@Abbie + @Sarah I 'll finish Shatter Me (and maybe Destroy Me) tonight. Let me know when you want to buddy the rest. I am not sure they are going to be very good but, you're right Abbie, they need to be read. :)

Sarah wrote: "Yikes! 1 star! You must have not liked it! I thought it was a disappointment too really."Well, 1.5 stars if I am to get technical!! :P I just didn't like at all. The only redeeming features where (view spoiler) I honestly didn't like anything else about this. The writing seriously gave me a headache - literally. I had to pop two Ibuprofens after this!! :/ I am glad that some people on here didn't like it too because ALL of my other friends absolutely loved this.
I've heard a lot of good things about this too, so i was really let down by it. :(I can do the other two anywhere after the 15th. :)
Sarah wrote: "I thought the most ridiculous thing was [spoilers removed] I have read worse though."(view spoiler)
Oh, and I have a theory about that: (view spoiler)

Yeah, everyone seems to love this one!
Okay. Choose a date. I am pretty free. :)
Sarah is pretty booked up, so i'll see if she can fit it in first. :)If not, do you want to do it sometime next month instead?

Sure. I don't mind at all! :)

      We could always push

back again. they don't count for the challenge so it wouldn't be too bad if we delayed them a week.

No, there's less of them though. Gallager girls is 6 books, while we only have 2 books and a novella of shatter me to read. did you read destroy me?

Not yet. Going to read Unravel Me soon :)"
If you want to wait there are a few of going to read it (and the rest of the series) during the month.

We were supposed to be starting on April 24th but we might push it back a couple of days now to read the second and third 'shatter me' books first.

Good thing that I have found this group as I am currently reading Shatter Me. I'm still at the beginning of the book. I'm already loving the metaphors though.

I think we might be a strange bunch because loads of people love this book, but we didn't really!

I'm not sure, probably towards the end of the month now as a few of us are trying to work through some review copies ☺

I'm finished!"Two Stars—I think I’m just bitter because it took so long to become interesting and there wasn’t a plot that I could tell. Things changed too often for me to see any goal for Juliette and Adam. I think the story was fine but it wasn’t good in this format. This would make a better movie than anything else. It just read like X-Men fanfic and I just didn’t like it. I will not be continuing the series."
Team Adam? Team Warner? Team Kenji?Unravel Me was better.
I have to admit, I got bored on this book too. It was damn slow.
I'm new here. Luckily, I have Shatter Me in TBR pile. I'm excited to read it and share my thoughts with you guys.P.S. I'm happy I found this group. :) You're all awesome!!

I finished Ignite Me already. Surprisingly, I enjoyed reading it. I'm glad I gave this series another chance. The first book is still boring but the following books are okay.

Glad to hear that the other books were better! A few of us are reading them at the end of the month ☺
