I agree with you guys, though. The lack of punctuation and her entire inner monologue are already getting on my nerves. I started skipping a few senteneces here and there, which is never a good sign this early in a book. I also find the girls choice of words -at least when it comes to her inner monolouge- to be pretty artificial. It seems at times as if the author tried to make the sentences sound as pretty as possible instead of simply stating what was on the girls mind. This works for some texts, but hardly ever for YA- at leat it doesn't in my opinion.
Do any of you know if they eventually leave that "asylum" or are they going to be stuck in there for the majority of the book? feel for to use spoiler tags for the answer :)

I hope Goodreads will update their mobile app. This is my issue when viewing it in mobile too.
I have to say that I just found this line amusing, but probably for the wrong reasons -
"They want to delete every point of punctuation in my life from this earth and I don't think I can let that happen."
Hate to break it to you love, but based on what I've read so far, they're doing a fairly good job!

Hahaha!
It's sometimes hard to read something that you don't like. I'm having similar issues with Last Sacrifice.

This is a little difficult to get through as well at points. It's like I wish the story would just move along already!

Hahahhaha good one Sarah ;)

It does give you an idea of what she's thinking. there isn't that much of it later in the book anyway though.
