What scene would you miss?

Which scene would you miss if the movie has to leave one out? This doesn't include the major scenes, it only includes the more offbeat, interesting scenes. My favorite is when Katniss takes her prep team to the mess hall the first time and her prep team is very aware that they stand out.

*But it's Posy, Gale's five year old sister, who helps the most. She scoots along the bench to Octavia and touches her skin with a tentative finger. "You're green. Are you sick?"

"It's a fashion thing, Posy. Like wearing lipstick," I say.

"It's meant to be pretty," whispers Octavia, and I can see the tears threatening to spill over her lashes.

Posy considers this and says matter-of-factly, "I think you'd be pretty in any color."*


Man, I hope they don't take that one out.

“Sometimes when I'm alone, I take the pearl from where it lives in my pocket and try to remember the boy with the bread, the strong arms that warded off nightmares on the train, the kisses in the arena.” I just wish for this scene so much !!!!!!

I agree with Olga above. We need all of the tender moments between Katniss and Peeta as they slowly start to trust each other again. For example the whole scene where Katniss notices that Peeta's not asleep and reaches out to smooth his hair:

"You're still trying to protect me. Real or not real," he whispers.
"Real," I answer….."because that's what you and I do. We protect each other."

Do you think they'll put that in? I mean, they put in the scene where Johanna strips off in the elevator.

Do you think they'd cut the epilog? Of course they cut the last scene in the Shire out of Return of the Kings, and that was the piece d'resistance for the whole series.

I really hope they don't! I couldn't see the movie producers/ directors cutting the epilogue, but I could see them tweaking it a bit. I don't want the ending to change in the movie if they do end up showing it.

The question was which scene would you not like to miss out on, not including major scenes just the offbeat ones.

This isn't a major scene and doesn't progress the storyline so it's one that could be missed/cut if time is a factor.

I think Johanna stripping in the elevator was important for character development and sets up the Katniss/Johanna relationship.

well, they make Mockingjay in 2 movies, so I don't see why they should let anything out.

I would miss terribly the part where Katniss remembers that Peeta said "always" under the influence of morphling, right after she got shot in 2.
I am really looking forward to that one, though I have no idea how they are going to film that.

I want this scene too, but they did not mention any of the background in the CF movie. I think the romantic parts are always cut out in the movies so far.
