((oh joy))Lemme go then. Shadow knew what she was going to do but she needed Kher out of her head first.
((haha dw bout it.))Alright Kher got out of her head. She smiled pleasantly, thats what made it so scary.
((tehe))Shadow levitated some of the smoldering rocks, about four the size of fists. They were red hot. She made them soar at Emmy,hitting her in the back and one hit her head. I'm sorry. She continued doing things like this.
Emmy was knocked out by the one to the head.Patrik saw this he yelled
"SALEM! What are you doing?!"
"I'm sorry." she collapsed, crying bitterly. Ellis was just as confused as Patrik.
Kher placed a hand on Emmy and dissapeared.Patrik ran to Salem, and grabbed her roughly
"What did you do?"
Shadow couldn't stop, could barely breathe for it. "Sorry,sorry,sorry..."Ellis walked over. "Leave her be."
Patrik calmed down "What happened?" he was gentler this time. He shut Ellis out.
"She,Kher, I'm sorry." she couldn't concentrate well enough to answer him properly.
"It's ok I'm sorry I freaked." He put a hand on her shoulder calming her down a little."What happened?"
"That girl, Kherington, she got in my mind Patrik. She told me I had to, she made me see the future. I didn't want to..Emmy's okay. I'll see her soon." her breathing was shallow.Ellis stood by for a moment.
"Its alright." Patrik said he stood up and looked at Ellis. Glared is the more accurate term.
Ellis sighed and grabbed Shadow's arm, pulling her up to stand beside him.
Patrik wanted to kill them all. His power wasn't as intense as Emmy's was.
((can Hunter wake up?))Ellis started to pull her to the car that had arrived at the scene but she was stronger than he was and was ignoring his attempts to speak to her.
((sure))patrik looked at Salem.
Hunter woke up and stood up angrily
"Stop it Ellis." she said calmly,her voice hard. "I may not waant someone else to kill you but I sure as hell wouldn't be afraid to do it myself."He smiled, "As if."
"And if she doesn't kill you, I know a few people who will be more then happy to kill you." Patrik interjected.
"Oh yeah? That's wonderful." Ellis motioned for Hunter to come over.
Hunter walked over."Isn't it just?" Patrik smiled
"Indeed." Ellis handed Shadow to Hunter, knowing he'd have a better chance with her than he would.Shadow glared at him but it was weak.
"Oh what Ellis you going to shoot me?" Patrik asked "You can do absolutely nothing to me."
Ellis made a face. "No, I'm not going to shoot you. I'm going to tell you something."Shadow bit her lip and tried to take her arm back.
"And what is that?" Patrik askedHunter tightened his grip on her.
"If you fight, your girlfriend dies."Shadow stiffened.
Patrik was motionless."You so much as touch her, I'll kill everyone you ever cared about." he snarled.
"that would be a lot harder than it sounds." Ellis replied, walking towards the car.Shadow yawned, tuckered out.
Patrik grinned darkly"I can kill them all from here. And if they are all dead already, I can do one better."
Patrik smiled "You touch Emmy. You will find out."
"I won't be touching anyone." Ellis stated, walking to the car and getting in.Shadow looked at Patrik. "Be safe." she was very tempted to knee Hunter in the 'place where the sun don't shine' but her body wouldn't let her.
"Let's go Hunter!"
"You too." Patrik said and once again he was happy she couldn't read his thoughts.Hunter pulled Salem after him.
Shadow nodded to Patrik and reluctantly went with Hunter.
"Why?" she said when they were in the car. "Why?" just why, nothing else.
Kher appeared next to her"Why what?"
"You asked and I'm one of the only ones that can answer. So I came. Now. Why what?"
"Why did you do that? You knew he would get mad, didn't you?"
"Of course i did. He was supposed to stay mad though. He has potential as well. He can control himself though, Emmy can't and she is part shadow. So we can use her."
"Of course I did. You didn't expect me to believe that you would watch while Ellis burnt to death. You would stop her and you did, just as I thought you would."
Shadow bit her lip again and didn't answer her old friend. I hope we get there soon.Ellis took the conversation in stride.
Kher grinned and said quietly "What's worse, you have to deal with Emmy when you get there."
"Thanks a lot." Shadow muttered unhappily as the car slowed.
"Idiot."The car stopped and Ellis got out,running into the building.
Kher stood and walked out. Motioning for Shadow to follow.
She didn't want to but she was sore and tired and didn't feel like fighting the 'friggin idiots' that had brought her there. Shadow slid out and trailed behind Kherington.
