Ellis looked down at the ground, refusing to meet anyone's gazes. Once inside he went to the living room and sat in his usual chair in the corner with a sigh.

Salem, after asking Teeghan the question, found Sean and stood by him.
Teeghan looked over to see her friend coming into the kitchen. "She's fine. She is just sleeping."
Sean looked up at Salem and smiled slightly. "Hey... You okay?"
"That's good," she said to Teeghan then turned to acknowledge Sean. "Yes, no, maybe so," she said it in the sing-song childhood way almost every first grader learned.
"Does it matter?" Salem asked, trying to keep it cheerful.
Teeghan giggled at Salem. She loved her friend to bits.
Sean nodded and took her hands, a solemn expression on his face. "Everything about you matters to me, Salem."
"Fine, ruin the cheer of morning," she said lowly, her fingers tingling at his touch. Is this love? "I care for you too."
"I'm sorry." Sean lowered his head and let go. "I-- I'm too serious lately."
Salem moved one hand to his face, forcing him to look up with a gentle push to his chin. "Sean, I was joking about the first part, but not the second." We're all too serious..except Gibbs and Liv and Teeghan. That's all. It's okay Sean.
Teeghan made a gagging noise. "Okay before i barf from all this lovey dovey stuff I am going to leave. I will be in the living room with Ellis if anyone wants me."
