Connect With Local Booktubers!
Oh, this is a great idea. I've been wanting to connect with other booktubers and find out if anyone lives anywhere near me. I'll have a go. Instead of contacting me directly here and flooding the comment section, just send me a PM either on my Goodreads or at my YT channel http://www.youtube.com/user/MagicOfBooks1.I live in North Carolina, USA.
2. I just turned 28 years old.
3. Rather introverted and shy, but once you get me talking, I can talk, haha! I love TV and movies, all things British (Hiddleston and Cumberbatch, ladies).
4.I'm a very diverse reader. I seriously read every genre. But my favorites are historical fiction and fantasy.
I personally don't think it should matter if another booktuber has the same amount of views and subscribers as me. I simply want to connect with others around me (if there are any of you).

The notion of "a" seems necessary if you want actual human interaction.
The other 3 points sound terrible. Associating only with people your own age, with the same interests, reading the same books, makes for an exceptionally boring group of people. Diverse circles of friends, spanning a myriad of ages, experiences, outlooks, and beliefs is the way to become a well-rounded individual. Being around clones of yourself is rarely very enlightening.
...Then again, what am I saying? Most people WANT to be clones.

D) mostly I read YA. But I like historical fiction, especially if it's based on the Tudors. I love me some Tudors! And I also like a good romance. But I'm also trying to broaden my reading genres and I'm dipping my toes into the world of the classics.

I think this is a great idea! A) I'm from California, USA.
B) I'm 22 years old.
C) I don't consider myself solely introverted or extroverted, because I love socializing and meeting new people, but I also love time to myself and a good night in.
D) I primarily read YA, particularly subgenres of dystopian, romance, historical fiction, fantasy, and contemporary. However, I do love some adult books as well; they aren't always my go-to, but some are totally amazing and I'm pretty open minded.

C) I've been told that I'm quite shy and quiet, but the minute you get to know me you'll wish that you hadn't. I'm quite loud, bubbly, hyper at all times and I talk/sing far to much haha
D) I read anything, anything YA is good though. I also have an unhealthy addiction to John Green books, I think I've read TFIOS like 10 times

I'm loving the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Since I want to form my own little group of YT book friends, here's a bit about me so you can assess for yourself whether we would be compatible or not:
a) I live in Southern Ontario, Canada (I won't say exactly where unless we become good friends and live in fairly close proximity)
b) I'm 17, turning 18 this July 15
c) I'm typically introverted, and it takes me a while to warm up to new people. But when I do warm up, watch out - I am this fireball of crazy fangirlishness. Be warned.
d) I like reading mainly YA books, some sci-fi, romance, historical-supernatural, contemporary, and occasionally New Adult. As long as there's romance in it, I'll give it a try. *wink wink nudge nudge* ;)
If you're interested in being one of my book buddies - or finding some local peeps of your own - I suggest you tell us a bit about yourself as well!
And personally, I'd prefer other BookTubers who have around the same number of subscribers and daily views as myself - that way, we give each other equal exposure when posting videos. :)
