SOLVED. Girl with Green eyes can talk to dragons [s]

I read this book about 10 years ago in elementary school. It was about a lineage of girls who all had green eyes, and therefore had the magical ability to speak with dragons. I believe it was a trilogy, each one having a different girl in it. I remember that one girl was really into falconing and had three different birds. The cover had pictures of the girls on them and the rest of the cover was white. If anyone has any clues for me, that would be great. Thank you!!

How about the Dragon Chronicles by Susan Fletcher? Seems to be a series of 4 books, each about a different girl who can mind speak with birds and dragons. Although I'm not sure if they have green eyes or not. But the first one was published in 1989 and the next two in the 90s, so the time may be about right.

I was going to say the Dragon Chronicles as well. The third book mentions the green eyes and I recall it very vaguely when I read this series a very long time ago!
