Kristina (klonk) | 39 comments Thank you, Sandra! Those are three books that have been collecting dust on my shelf for quite some time, and probably would gather a lot more dust if you hadn't chosen them for me! :) This will be an interesting fall!

Lillian (lilliannedeau) | 26 comments Oh, yay! Thanks for great pics Stacie!

Almost finished with The Supremes at Earl's All You Can Eat
"Delicious" finished, loved it.
I finished The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy. Hurt my heart but in a good way. One character said the best part of her life was with these people in the hospice. Mortality bites.
Thanks for the pics, Stacie!

message 66: by Lanelle (last edited Sep 28, 2015 05:06PM) (new)

Lanelle I've finished my first book for the challenge, Lucky Bet (9/27/15). It was a little unbelievable, but an enjoyable story.

I've finished my second book, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (9/28/15). A bit confusing at the beginning, and quite sad in spots.

On to the last book.

Glad you liked it Sandra. I can't say that I did. I thought it was weird.

Sandra Hernandez (saniy95231) | 55 comments I was just disappointed with the ending I felt like it was a great story and then she didn't know how to give it a good ending

Wow, I am behind, and I came to the library today to try to pick up my first book, and it was dicey! The last time I had checked (a couple days ago) Spool of Blue Thread was available, but now it is all checked out, so I have a hold on it. Orphan Master's Son is supposed to be here, but is missing from the shelves. So, I finally found the third pick, Labor Day by Joyce Maynard and I am running away with it while I still can! lol

Sandra Hernandez (saniy95231) | 55 comments So I never finished all three books I did read the kite runner awhile back just didn't have time to post about it. I did like the book. Made me sad and I did find the main character to be a bit annoying or an ass. I think for me I liked the main character at first until the incident. AFterwards I found myself starting to dislike him.
