Yawatta Hosby (agathachristiefan) I never heard from Momina, so I did an unofficial pick with my Sept partner. She had chosen Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich for me. Here's my thoughts:

I loved this terrifying book with a non-linear plot. Carly had a split personality--Kaitlyn. Possibly Ari Hait was her other personality as well. Kaitlyn was the prime suspect of arson at the school that killed three people.

The novel reminded me of the movie Insidious. It was written entirely as a diary and footage of the police investigation, the therapist's sessions with Carly, and newspaper clippings. The eerie photos accompanied by Carly's friend's video camcorder gave me chills down my spine. The story was full of twists after twists.

I RECOMMEND this book to read.
