Hello all, my name is Margaret, and I am 25 years old. My husband and I live in Muskoka, Ontario, and I work as a librarian, which is ideal for me because I ALWAYS have my nose in a book. :) I enjoy all genres, but a good mystery or thriller really gets my heart going. Besides reading, I like to write, sing, hike, horse-back ride, bird-watch, and cook.

Hi Nancy and thanks for the welcome! I was so saddened to hear of Mankell's death today - and I am sure my home country, and the rest of the world, is in mourning of one of the greatest authors of our time. His work has given joy to so many people all over the world, and will live on forever.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yes Nancy, this is a dark day in the literature world. Mankell was my hero and mentor, I have read his books since I was a teenager and he inspired me to no end. /A.C. Efverman

That is sad news. Someone at my former office turned me on to Mankell. Loaning me most of the books. But that must have been 15-20 years ago now so that I am no longer sure which ones I have read. So I have started over.
