Read in late 1960s. Reading level around 10 years old, I'd think. Narrator lives with aunt and uncle in motel they own. Mysterious guest, all covered up, no flesh visible. Aunt and uncle get sick and die. Guest leaves. Narrator, a young teen, goes after him in pickup. Eventually he discovers guest was a blue? alien who is naturally radioactive; he did not intend to harm anyone. Stranded on earth, I believe. Tried to find this book for decades! Thanks!
