Looking for this book I can only remember certain things about it. There a place where people are born in the darkness and they are blind and there are people born in the light. I think there are only two books. I remember the covers perfectly. The first one has a woman with dark hair and long gloves on and a dress and the second one has a woman with blonde hair wearing a tunic and has a sword maybe. Lol.

How long ago did you read it, and did it seem like a new or older book at the time?That's a really helpful detail to include since it will rule out anything written/published after your book was read.
I wanna say I read it around 2008 and up? I know the woman with dark hair always wore long gloves so that no one could touch her skin cause she had some sort of power.
