No 'snowing'?

It's there Megan! Actually it's there twice: once on its own and once embedded. :)"
Yay! And looking at it, even if the genre had fallen off somehow, the author's initials are SS, so it would've worked for option 1 lol
Thank you!

Thanks! Congrats on getting most improved!!!

Option 2 - Snow in the title
Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis
Option 3 - War genre

As part of my continuing attempt to bring Calgary to the world, I designed my task around the experience of Fall in Calgary.
This is a ONE book task. Please choose from the options below. REQUIRED: Indicate in your post the option you chose.
Option 1 - Labour Day Classic: There is quite a strong sports rivalry between Calgary and our neighbours to the north, Edmonton, and the most eagerly-awaited expression of this rivalry is the Canadian Football League's annual Labour Day game between our Stampeders and the hated Edmonton Eskimos. Although the Eskimos have a 25-23-1 lead overall, the Stamps have won the last 3 games and 5 of the last 6.
Task: Read a book whose author's* initials can be found in the phrase GO STAMPS GO. Letters may be used as often as they appear in the phrase. Middle initials may be used or ignored.
*Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. Ask about other roles identified in a Goodreads record in the season's General Questions help thread.
Option 2 - The First Snowfall: It may happen early in the season or it may happen late, but alas, it will happen; we will get our first snowfall sometime in autumn. Last year's first snow occurred in early September and came in the form of a very thick, wet, heavy snow that damaged quite a few trees and even killed some. Hopefully, this year's winter preview will be a gentler one!
Task: Read a book that contains the word "snow" in the title or subtitle. The word must stand alone. Snows, snowy, and snowfall are the only acceptable variations.
Examples: Snow, The Snow Child, On a Snowy Night, Snowfall
Option 3: Remembrance Day: It is known by different names, but many countries commemorate the signing of the armistice on November 11 that brought World War I to an end, and Canada is no exception. Here in Calgary, the central event will take place at the Central Memorial Park cenotaph, with many other events taking place throughout the city.
Task: Read a book with War as a main page genre. The genre can be standalone or embedded.
