This was definitely cute, although some parts were a bit over the top for me. I liked the story for the most part although I thought some parts were done better than others. The whole stalker type thing was just dropped. That was weird. Then it was mentioned quickly near the end.
Overall though, the story was entertaining and fun. I liked the cast of characters and look forward to seeing them again. I will definitely continue on with this series.

Book: Beautiful Secret by Christina Lauren
Rating: 4 stars, finished 03/10/2015
Review:
There are 3 things that I love about Christina Lauren books: the hot sex scene, the fun interaction between characters and that feeling when you finish the book and you just want more. So this book is about Ruby and Niall, he is the VP and she is an intern of this company in London, she has a crush on him, but he is oblivious to that. They go on a business trip in New York and things escalates from there. The first half of this book was kind of boring for me, I felt like there was a lot of talk about feelings, but still I enjoyed that there was a different kind of relationship. It felt like I kissed you so let's have a long discussion about that. This slowed the pacing of the book. I missed the interaction between previous characters, they were barely mentioned. I can understand that this is about two different characters but I still miss their banter. I liked the ending, it was fair but I didn't felt excited to read more. Still a solid read and a good book, but maybe not my favorite in the series.

Rating & Review: ★★★★★. Four years have gone by since book 1 and Cat Russell (Cat's new alias) is leading an FBI task force that deals with the supernatural occurrences that the government wishes to keep the public from knowing.
At the wedding of her best friend Denise, Cat comes face to face with her lover Bones and this time there is no running away from Bones. He is determined to keep his red reaper by his side and we see that they are stronger together than apart.
This book was even better than book 1. Jeaniene Frost wrote a very entertaining story, with interesting characters and it even had lots of loving.
If you love witty banter, adventure and hot romance, this is a must read series!

Out of the books I've read in the series, this one is my favorite!

Doctor's Delight
Rating: ★★★
This was just an okay read, nothing really stood out. It tended to be a little too cheesy at times and the hero was a tiny bit of a stalker. It did make me curious about the next book, so I'll probably read it eventually.

Jake Becker has a reputation for being cold, callous, and intimidating – He is a Criminal
Lawyer. Jake loves a good time and one night-stands, he isn’t a family man.
But he becomes one, when he meets Chelsea McQuaid and he six nieces and nephews.
Chelsea’s brother and his wife died in car crash and she is legal guardian of her brother children.
I really loved the story. The book is fun and enjoyable.

Review:
The Scam is book #4 in the Fox & O’Hare series. These books are light reads. I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the other 3. I mainly gave this a 3.5 stars rounded to 4, because of the ending. I absolutely hate cliffhangers! Now, I have to move book #5 up before I forget what happens at the end of this book!
Kate O’Hare is a FBI agent working with ex-con Nick in order to crack cases. This case has them setting up a scam in order to convict Tres who is laundering money through his casino. At times, I felt that the plot was scattered and included too many irrelevant details. There also seems to be gaps in the plot and in the overall storyline. I did like the narrator and plan to continue with the series if only to wrap up the end of this book!

That sounds SO familiar!

I liked this more than I thought I would. It was cheesy at times, and I wasn't fond of the whole "autobiography" thing to explain away all of the hero's issues, but I did gobble up the story enough to read it in one sitting last night into early this morning.
I did like the plot twists, like the reason why Elec's dad was such a bustard to him and how the Elec and Grace got together in the end. I was even intrigued by the little anagrams that Elec was dropping throughout the book.
Overall, I thought it was a cute read, that wasn't always fun to read because of some heavy subjects but was definitely engrossing.

I enjoyed this story but the heroine wallowing in her past pain made it difficult to truly enjoy the story. The narrator did a good job with the somber tone of the characters. I saw this as a second chance and also a story about growing from bad choices. It always reminds me of how single parents often use the children as a weapon and/or shield against the "other" parent.
The theme of redeeming oneself was appealing to me so I will continue with series.

I'm almost done. Quick for me considering that it is a Kindle book and not audio. Fast read - a little wordy at times.

Yep. When I read it it this summer, it seemed like forever, but time is moving along quite quickly. I'm hoping to see more of the Oldest Bradford this time. I can't quite remember his name though.

Edward is the oldest Bradford. I am also curious about the middle son who is briefly mentioned but can't be found. I think that book 2 is going to focus on Edward. At least, that's what all of the previews are indicating.

This book started out slow for me but quickly picked up. There were times that I was bogged down with too many details on Bourbon distilleries, grounds, and southern charm. I am from the south and some of the slang was incorrect. However, I am not holding any of that against this book.
The main characters in this book were Lizzie King and Lane Baldwine. Lizzie is the senior horticulturalist who works for the Baldwine’s. She and Lane were a hot item two years prior until he married someone else. Now, he is called back home due to an emergency. Unfortunately for Lane, the emergency goes from bad to unstoppable.
I will definitely read book 2 but it doesn't come out until July 2016.

This is a perfect example of how to write a menage story. I loved reading about how Ian, Derek and Sophie developed their relationships and heal each other from past hurts. I especially loved the interactions with Derek and Sophie and how we're able to see how they bring the best out of each other. There was some forced drama/action in the end that really didn't make a lot of sense and wasn't needed in the story.
