This book was just ok. I like biker/mc books, but this one was nothing special. The story didn't flow nicely and was just kind of all over the place. There was no real development with the characters, nothing to make me love them. It was a quick read. I'm not sure if I'll read next book, although I migh try to see if there is some improvement.

Review:
Whoa. This is the first book by Jill Shalvis that I didn't like. I usually love and cherish her books, I hardly ever rate them below 4 stars, I had maybe 2-3 times a 3 stars read, but usually they are a great comfort read to me, she's one of my favorite contemporary authors. This one was different: it's written in first person POV, which changes occasionally from the heroine's POV to the hero's. It also starts out as a normal contemporary romance and then goes BAM! into SciFi land. Completely out of the blue. The plot barely made sense to me and I didn't like the MC at all. I still can't really comprehend what I've actually read. Well, it certainly was interesting to read something that is so much different to her usual books, but I'm glad she writes what she writes nowadays (this book was published nine years ago).

I've really enjoyed this new series by Christina Dodd. I couldn't put this down. Didn't love the MC male but I didn't need to because this book mostly center around MC female and she was one tough cookie. I like the location and the characters further explored past the first book in the seriesVirtue Falls. I do think you need to read them in order or you will have no idea what is going on when Summer finally gets to Virtue Falls. Definitely a strong romantic suspense with a touch of supernatural.

Review - I have really enjoyed this whole series. Even though this can be read as a stand alone you do get a glimpse of past characters if you are familiar with the books. Axel and Mystery are thrust together and them separated by years due to her age. Once she finds him again there will be no going back. I highly recommend this book to anyone and can't wait for Sweet Pea's story.

Book: The Devil's Love by Julia London

Review:
I have read a few books from Julia London and while I haven't really liked any of them they were decent enough HR reads to pass time. I didn't have any high expectations about The Devil's Love and it's a good thing I didn't as it was yet another just decent book.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. I don't think I was expecting the (view spoiler) but I think the author did her research. Reading Caroline's struggle was difficult but ultimately she changed throughout the course of the book and became a character I really liked. West. Where to start with West? Dreamy, brooding, alpha bad boy with a secret heart of gold. That sounds about right. I will definitely pick up the next one in this series.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Goodness - that sounds dreadful Amy! Hope it is all healed up soon :)

I enjoyed this book very much. The beginning was hard to read with what Kennedy was put through, I did like Nick and Kennedy's relationship. The mystery was a bit different in that we know what the bad guys were, so it was reading and seeing how Nick, Kennedy and the other secondary character were going to bring them down. I will read more by this author.

Review:
Lisa Kleypas is back with a new HR, yay! It certainly isn't one of my favorite books by her, but I did enjoy it. I must admit, though, that I was much more invested in Helen's story than the MCs and I'm looking forward to her book. I assume, the relatives of the hero will be part of the series - his cousins, his brother - and I liked how they were introduced. The main couple was okay, too, but they were a little outshined by the subplots of minor characters like Helen. Still, LK writes charming as usual.

My eye is still messed up, but not that bad. I have noticed that it throbs a little if I look at a screen too long so I pop in and out. I finally relented yesterday and took medicine for the set back. But today I kinda have that "lost time" feeling, because the last few days have been mostly sleeping or near-blinding pain.

Review: This is an adorable novella to set the stage for the series to come (of which the first book is currently free for Kindle!). One of the other goodreads reviewer commented on it being the perfect length and I agree. I think if it had been any longer we would not have liked Hugo. I have already started the next book in the series which tells you that I liked it.

review - Oh wow I loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series. I love an alpha male who isn't afraid to cry and apologize if need be. Axel and his men are gorgeous, protective. loving and fierce. Izzy and Dee are hilarious and so down to earth. Just because of the men and the way they are I love it. Highly recommend.

This was...a dragging mess for me. 2 cops and a bartender. When the bartender first noticed the cops, they were just coming in for a drink. But then there had a been a string of robberies in the area and they started to pay attention to Mason. None of them really ever talked. Before or after the robberies. Everything was worked out through sex. And how do you know you're in love after have sex with them just once? Because they asked you to spend the night? If there would have been more about the robberies and that whole story, this could have easily been a lot better.
