Jesse stud up, holding Billie under his arm like a sat of golf clubs, "Gregg. Off the table."
"I'm not finished." He purred still licking from the saucer.
Jesse grumbled looking over at Danny and gestured to the fat cat, "This is Gregg by the way. He can talk. But you can pretend he doesn't."

Gale gave a small shrug, "It's really easy to ignore people who want to be ignored. I guess till she says otherwise, we'll leave her alone." He took his goblet and gulped down the rest of his orange juice then pounded the empty cup back down on the table. "I need to catch up with my studies. Bye!" he climbed off the chair quickly and bolted out of the dining room.

A couple of hours slipped by and Gale couldn't help it anymore. He snuck upstairs when no one was in the hall and pressed his cheek against Lillian's door. "Hey," he whispered just to where she could hear him, "I know you want to be left alone an all. But I was wondering if I could show you my garden. I think you'll like it."

Though he didn't read the paper, if he did, he would have found it a bit weird. Sure, Jesse was a charmer. But he'd never purposely broken a girl's heart without full intentions.

Jesse smiled faintly, watching as Billie raced after him, going out to enjoy the day. He walked over, picking up the papers curiously and flattened then out between some pieces of fabric and the iron.

No thank you
He then sat down looking over the last piece of paper for a good long time. A smooth hand touched his shoulder gently, "What's that?"
Jesse stud up and turned around with a big smile, "Valentine!" he gave him a swift hug and chuckled, "You're back. Goodness, it feels like its been forever."
The tall, slender man took the note carefully and read it aloud, "Tell Jesse I'm sorry for talking only about talking. I understand that he is mad."

Jesse sighed an sat down on the table, "The new maid and butler came in."
"So-?" He held the note carefully, "Who's hand writing is this."
"The maid's," Jesse had to think for a few moments, remembering her name, "Lillian."
"And you got mad at her because she only talked about not talking?" He crumbled that paper, narrowing his eyes at Jesse.
Jesse tensed faintly, "Well, yeah. I mean. I didn't get mad at her. Though all she really talked about was how she never really talked. But I just didn't really say anything. Honest, what do you say to that?" He grumbled softly, "I think she needs to get out more."
"Where is she?" He tossed the paper into the trash.
"Upstairs." Jesse replied.
"And the butler?" He continued.
"Danny. He's in his room as well." Jesse explained.

"I think she's in the library." Jesse gestured his head.
"Ah good. Will you go watch the kitties for me?" He smiled.
"Of course." Jesse returned the smile then hopped up and ran outside into the garden to find Gale and Billie.
He left the kitchen stopping in on Stella for a minute, then headed upstairs and to the help's personal hall. He gave Lillian's door a soft knock then unlocked the door a stepped in.

"If that's the case then this isn't the place for her. I am the head of the house. My name is Mr. Promise, but please, call me Valentine." He walked to Danny and shook his hand politely.
"Are the both of you staying or shall I ship the girl off?" He smiled teasingly. He looked to be in his late 20s, standing tall with messy sand colored hair.

"I told you no you will leave ok."
"Your not my boss." She whispered
"No but Mr.Promise is mine. I'm sorry I really am." He said holding her.
"Isn't there any where than Auntys."
"No."

"Promise me something I will see if you can stay if you talk. You don't have to go on full conversations. Just talk like say hi or good morning. And don't be afraid of new things." She nodded her head.
"I promise." He got up.
"Sir I have a question. If my sister started to talk would she be able to stay."

He found if awful weird they were so fixed on her talking. If she didn't want to speak, then no one was going to make her. But they weren't going to have her moping around their home doing nothing but sulk.

"Hi my name is Lillian." She said with a smile.

"Excuse me, but I'll be out for quite some time today, getting everything in town running again. Tomorrow I promise a feast of the most proper sort." He let down Lillian's hand carefully.

"Is there anything you want us to do. Other that I think my sister should go introduced to herself."

"Can you come with me?" He nodded his head. He took her hand and lead her to where Jesse , Gale,Billie were."Hi my name is Lillian." She looked up at them and smiled.

Billie and Gale reached, grabbing Danny's shirt and pulled him up.

"Actually no we have work to do." Danny said.
She couldn't help but want to stay with Jesse.

"Fine but we better not get fired." He said rolling his eyes.

Danny notice his sister staring. "It's not polite to stare." She blushed a deep red.
"Im not staring." She said sternly.

Gale quickly looking away and stopped staring at Lillian, thinking her brother was speaking to him.
Jesse purred, "Well, chasing Gregg is always fun. He's never failed to lead us to some sort of stash or hidden passage. I think we've found them all though."
"Stella knows this place top to bottom!" Billie said excitably.

"I'm sorry for thinking that you were staring in Jesses eyes." He said laughing,

"Yes, I suppose it is a bit funny. Exploring." he remarked.

"You never complained about it before." He whispered.

Gale frowned and pouted, "Aw, I'm old enough now!"

Her brother waited for his response. He was becoming over protective of her. He rolled his eyes. His sister was falling for him. He better not hurt her or anything.

Jesse smiled holding Billie close. She squirmed happily and cuddled close into Jesse's chest. He laughed faintly, "What are you doing baby girl?"
"Just excited." She giggled happily, buzzing with excitement, rubbing her face all over his chest happily.

She little girl perked her head up with a sweet giggle, looking over at Lillian, "My name is Billie-Jean."
Jesse chuckled happily and sang with the little girl
Billie Jean is not my lover
She's just a girl who thinks that
I am the one
But
The kid is not my son

Gale helped himself down, tearing his eyes away from Lillian and tagged Billie.
