Aslı Özenç (asliozenc) | 11 comments I have Philip K. Dick,China Mieville books and Wool,Leviathan Wakes books.I can't decide which one to read first.I'm not in mood for reading lately so which one is more easy to read?

Richard (thinkingbluecountingtwo) | 447 comments Dick and Mieville can't really usually be called easy reads, so between Wool and Leviathan Wakes I'd go for Wool first as it is in a more serialised form making it that little bit easier to get into without having to commit to the longhaul before you get a good payoff. Just my thoughts, others may of course differ.

YouKneeK | 1412 comments I haven’t read any of the other books/authors you mentioned yet, but I recently read Wool and really enjoyed it. For me, it was very easy to read – one of the easier reads I’ve read lately. But I guess it depends on what you like. It’s one of those books that keeps you guessing about exactly what’s going on, giving you just enough information to make you curious. So you’re sort of propelled through the book in search of answers.

Assuming you have the omnibus version, it’s broken up into 5 books and the first one is extremely short. You could perhaps try reading the first book and then set it aside if it doesn’t grab you, and save it for another time when you're in a different frame of mind.

Aslı Özenç (asliozenc) | 11 comments I decided to read Wool and started last night. I hope it will change my mood about reading

YouKneeK | 1412 comments Let us know how you like it, Ash! You might already know this, but Wool was a club read back in January 2013, and a small group also read it just last month. So there’s a set of discussion threads set up for the book that were used during both group reads.

Here’s the link to them if you’re interested and didn’t already have it: Wool Discussions

DavidO (drgnangl) I had the same problem. Seems to be the font they use here that makes only a few pixels difference between "h" and "li"
