This is very good! Would love to see more of the script you've created!
This is all the I've done for legend... I have some other scripts but there just written on paper.
EXT. LAKE SECTOR, BUILDING - NIGHT
A boy, fifteen, long blonde hair, sits on the window ledge about 3 stories up on an old dilapidated building looking over a dirty town, the buildings all look run down and on some doors there are red X's. His hair is pulled up into an old, trashed baseball cap. There is a large screen across from where the boy is sitting, it is called a JumboTron. On the screen it shows smiling children, tourists next to what looks like ruins of the Golden Gate Bridge, and commercials in bright colors representing the republic. Some show anti-colony propoganda. Then another picture comes up, the boy seems slightly uneasy at the sight of it. It reads: 'WANTED BY THE REPUBLIC "DAY" Wanted for assault, arson, theft, destruction of military property, and hindering the war effort. 200.000 republic notes for information leading to arrest. There is a picture next to the writing that is clearly not the boy on the roof. The boy slightly smiles at the sight of the picture. Then his sight turns to a one story house down the road. There is a girl inside the building behind the boy. Soldiers walk down the street marking some houses with the X's.

They haven't eaten dinner.

TESS
Maybe they're not home?
DAY
A lamp's lit. Look at those
Candles. Mom would never
Waste candles if no one
Was home.
TESS
We should leave the city
For a couple weeks, yeah?
Soon the plague will have
Blown through, and you
Can come back to visit. We
Have more than enough money
For two train tickets
DAY TESS
One night a week remember? --Yeah. You've been coming here
Just let me check up on them every night this week--
One night a week-- --What if you get sick?
--I just want to make sure

DAY

Somebody has to keep an eye

The soldiers come closer to the house Day was looking at earlier. They go in a house a few doors down. A woman runs out of the house, he skin cracked and bleeding. The soldier shoots her with a fancy lightning-like gun. The lady collapses and the soldiers take her away as another soldier marks the door with a red X.

Day holds up goggles, food, and shoes. He looks worried.
DAY

TESS

DAY

Day's younger brother, Eden walked past the window of the house Day is looking at.
DAY
He looks thinner.
TESS
He's alive and walking
Around, I'd say that's a

Day sees his brothers and mom talking throughout the window of the house. The soldiers walk into Day's house. They stay in there for a long time.
TESS
No news is good news,

DAY

The soldiers come outside after over an hour. Day gasps as they take out the spray paint. They mark a red X in the door before spraying another red line cutting the X in half vertically.
