Danielle's Books (daniellesbooks) The book was phenomenal! I'm hoping the movie will be just as great :)

When I saw the trailer a few weeks ago, I was in the same situation as you. And honestly I cannot wait until it comes out!

Caitlyn Scully (cscully) | 41 comments The movie and book were both great! The only thing that disappointed me in the movie was the lack of involvement of Zombie's squad. In the book they went into depth of each member but in the movie they were the "back-up dancers" of Zombie and Ringer.

Otherwise the movie was great and I strongly advise everyone to see it!

I really thought the movie lacked character development with Zombie's squad and with Ben himself. With the squad I still hadn't fully figured out who was who by the end and Zombie wasn't very "zombie" like.

I thought the movie followed the book pretty well and the acting was better than I think most people were expecting, but I love Chloe Grace Moretz to begin with. I just thought there were some points that were too rushed and left some small and unnecessary plot holes that could have been easily fixed with one or two lines of dialogue. Why were they going to that camp? Why would Dumbo know where to shoot Zombie in the abdomen? Where did Ringer get that car from? How did Cassie know what the 4th wave was? Plus Evan's reasoning for loving Cassie was super insta-lovey...he saw her and knew love was real...

I still thought it was an entertaining movie and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The errors just felt sloppy and totally avoidable.

Mari (marioshea) | 6 comments The movie was so much better than I expected!! After watching the Scorch Trials the weekend before, I was expecting yet another movie that was nothing like the book. But I'm so glad I was wrong!!

The movie was just like the book, with only minor details that were changed. I was very happy that it gave you the feeling of the book where it goes back and forth from one character to another.

The only thing that I would change is that we got to see more of Zombie and his squad. There was very little mention of them in the movie, and they were my favorite people in the book. The movie didn't even give you the name of the characters but if you read the book you could kinda infer who was who.

All of the Cassie and Evan parts were amazinggg!!! I'm so glad that there were a lot of those and I feel like those parts were even better than the ones from the book.

Overall it was a very good movie and hopefully we get one for Infinite Sea because it will be just as fantastic as this one.

Briana Jade (briana_jade) I loved the book. I saw the movie, my mind was BLOWN! Just about everything was different except for the main plot. Cassie and Evan had none of their sweet moments from the book. Cassie's bullet would healed within in about 2 weeks (uh not realistic in the slightest). Zombie and Nugget's relationship was hardly there. And they added in stupid scenes (like the one where Evan in bathing in a lake) that were unrealistic (really Out in the open Evan where ANYONE can see you?!) and just were the re to make teenage girls giggle (I mean really.) That truck in the middle of the woods that is literally SURROUNDED by trees, how did it get in there? That would be impossible to get in. And Cassie and Ben's conversation at the beginning of the movie? What was that!! THEY DONT TALK IN THE BOOK! I don't think they will continue to make the rest of the series . And I wouldn't mind because the last 2 were not that good anyways.

Kelsey (kelseypartridge) Was the movie good? I didn't get a chance to see it, but there didn't seem to be much hype about it.

Clare Bonasera | 4 comments It was not such a publicised movie, but it still was great!
