Doubts

I have this doubt.When Archie and Gretchen were in the woods she said to him that she is the last woman who he will have sex. So she will actually kill him??or It was just plan to them to be together???

Archie & Gretchen were both around in the first 3 novels I read so I have no clue what happens next. But out of curiosity I will probably pick up further books to see if you are right eventually.

My main doubt is she being truthful or just manipulate him. In the 4 and 5 books they are not so pretty close and Archie's obssession is less and also Gretchen barely appears in this 2 two books.

In my opinion Gretchen had some sort of attachmant to Archie, not sure I would call it love as I know it, and she employed tactics to ensure Archie's attention towards her. She feels a need towards him and I am not sure what happens when she no longer has that need. It could be that she will kill him.
That is another arc containing a form of thrilleraspect for the series, will she or won't she.

I agree with you. I believe she is obsessed with bc he worked almost 10 years to catch her and she knows a lot about what they were doing and same as Archie. She manipulate him that she will be in control as she always is,but Archie dont make this easy and he has personality and that's why she has this need.
I dont think she will kill him or vice versa,the series finished when this happen.
